This is what started it all. The birth of the demo scene. Before TechTech there was nothing.

wow
nice titts
nice titts
this is just so nice
sexy ;)
Somehow I imagined it would be more primitive than it is... There's already a bit of advancement in THIS demo. And the waveform samples, while looped, are pretty cool

sword of sodan... inspired... =)
An Amiga milestone!
The beginning of wobbling.. eh ... Techtech stuff...
Sodan \o/
Maybe the earliest scene prod i ever saw on Amiga. Lot's of DOTC in there :)
Classic.
of course i need to place my nick here, because this oldschool pearl is truely amazing!
:)
I wish I could thumb up twice like Elitescener.
this double thumb never happened before, very elite indeed :D
a classic and early one
i was really impressed back then... great
A milestone.
I remember this one, and watching it quite a few times. It was pretty amazing. Hm.. must rewatch :)
The roots!
Forgot the thumb.
There is nothing like nostalgic feelings.. Damn this truly is a classic, and would have had the centerpost in a museum if demos hade such a thing
I didnt even recognize the value of this one when I saw it for the first time.
Besides: thumb for the pixel boobs!

Use Kickstart 1.2.
Absolute classic!
Elite oldschool, a masterpiece from better times.
finally got to see it :)
had it on a 5.25" disk and it was full of r/w-errors :/

This deserves a youtube clip, anyone have the time?
I had the time to enter "techtech sodan" into the youtube search field: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Io-2ZwVnWVk
cool show, especially for 1987
It didn't age well at all, but what makes it very likable is its blatant silliness and almost trollish disregard for coherent presentation (something demos a few years later will deeply indulge in), especially evident in the last scene: "let's put all this here and not give a fuck."
ELITE
Great stuff. On a side note, Jim Sachs is one of the greatest Amiga artists ever. His clear, colourful style is instantly recognizable and I used to play DotC over and over just to see all the amazing graphics.
Great!!
Rulez!
1987...
all the music and 2d gfx are ripped, the flow is very inconsistent and design obviously wasnt invented yet.
in short: a real classic.

Demoscene history...
Obey your masters
History in the making
This classic finally got its WHDLoad patch too!
Classic. The first demo I saw on the Amiga.
Well, back in 1987 the Ultimate Soundtracker wasn't established and its clones didn't exist yet. Thus loop samples were the only alternative. The samples were up to date for that time und bring some sweet memories of my own youth and music intereset in that time.
Surely this production is a milestone and a real classic if you consider its release date.
If you like the gorgeous wobble effect for that time then watch this weird music video at position 0:19 of the same year:

HQC already had software synth in 1986.
BOING PING BOOM TSCHAK
Boing! ^_^
Obvious thumb and a very early classic! This came just before I was introduced to these things called "demos". :) So it never got spread to me. But I did watch it years later by running the parts separately I remember.
Trivia: this was one of my choices for my demoshow on Datastorm ;) 2013, where I hoped to avoid gurus for these (largely pre-A500) demos by loading an A1000 Kick 1.2 ROM into ACA500.

I think i've seen it around 1990 on a friend's Amiga, maybe a bit too late to appreciate it fully.
Magician42, Julian Lefay the coder of Daggerfall I find out now. Cool!
Classic saw this on a Demoscensklubben Stockholm but forgot to thumb it up
