Great. Still very far from HBC in terms of direction and flow and overal feeling. But getting better each year.

I expected something horrible when I saw the title after having seen the winning entry of the compo. I'm glad I was disappointed there.

The charecters don't really seem alive, too stiff and no emotion at all. Overall the pacing is pretty fast, but it has some annoying pauses which kinda break the flow. Also the music (which is good) doesn't really work together with the visuals, no real syncs and I'd have some sfx there too. Other than that, this is pretty kickass. Rendering, modeling and animation are really well made.

great-ish. didn't really enjoy it. no sfx, could have done tweaking those pauses a little bit, without sound there is nothing to convey a static (and quite frankly ugly) face in this. Still, has potential, seems to have roused a few people to vote it up high, so chances are this and future productions are going up up up.

the pacing is my biggest issue here, too many long dead moments where everything just stands still. the music sounds like it was slapped on it right before the deadline (it's not bad, just... doesn't do anything to the visuals.)

very much what gargaj said. I also can see the inspiration coming from 0.5bit cheese concerning the choice of gradient backgrounds and animation styles which might as well have taken some lessons from Spümcø Inc. themselves but it'll only be awesome when it's performed in a way superior way which it was not. Also while the design of the female character looked pretty fine to me the lead character was too generic in my book leaving him without any noticable/interesting character traits whatsoever. That having said I clearly see that there's some major potential here and I'm looking forward to seeing more content from pistoke!

Nice colours and some decent modelling and animation, but I didn't really get much else from it. Maybe sound effects would've brought it to life as it seemed quite uninteresting and without character with the music playing over the top.
not sure what I liked but I liked it.
Visually it's rather good, but the characters appear rather lifeless indeed and the direction didn't really convince. Loads of promise here though!
