while this misses all the latest shizzle like rotoscoped bumpnoise hairvectors and particle poingpoing zooming, and its really not an intro, its the only 4k that made me piss my pants laughing (after a crate of beer) from assembly. in a real good way (first thought was: ohno he made our soccerteam in 4k)

Usually I'm a sucker for everything Archee, but...sorry...that wasn't really pleasant to look at...or to listen to. What Puryx said.
Kind of nice. The concept is great, perhaps the presentation could have been done better. The physics are there but that extra twist of grape is missing.
i can't think of how this got 2nd.. the code may be great - but the show is crap. this is worse than the last one. i can't actually see the technique behind it because the figure just seems to randomly cripple around chasing the ball.. and the physics isn't actually THAT great observing the ball.. why not try it with 64k and proper sfx/gfx or something?
Probably wouldn't watch it too often at home but it definitely was fun in the actual compo. But yeah, moving on now is highly recommended.

Yeah, I kind of expected some thumb-down for this. But it was so funny to see the reaction during the compo. On the other hand, this took more complex mathematical tricks, than any of my other releases. Anyway my next plans allow more space for visuals too.
Nice experiment and probably tough, but not as fun as your Breakpoint one, and certainly not as beautiful.

the 4k physics improvements are impressive, but like others said, the presentation isn't. maybe if it were more entertaining, like with two or more figures, or if the "music" was reduced to just sound effects. hard to do in 4k, i know, but unless it's a game, it's more about the show than the ai.

Annoying music, doesn't really work as a demo, and I think all the algorithms used were already seen in the previous Archee prods (which are much better in terms of music and design).
Maybe not a great crowd pleaser, but i found it both impressive + funny :)

Your genetic algorithms are starting to look like raymarching to me...same old, either do something innovative with them or do something else physics-y (which I totally know you can)!

Dutch football :lol: !! The technicall aspect is undoubtly there but it lacks proper music and presentation. Anyway made me smile :)

Personally I really loved this one, because the previous darwinism and his first attempt on GA wasn't very effective (crashes in my system, the animal just jumps sideways on the butterfly, concept nice but not good variation of action) but here GA really shows off, guy finally makes many variations of funny original moves, he really evolves, ok the visuals are simple but finally the GA concept works in a good way. So it's an improvement from the last one.
