Okkie was right about the similarities in the story line of the anim released at Outline and Solskogen by bob. This possibly wasn't intended to come anywhere near third, that's not your fault, it's the fault of the loltards with vote buttons. Thanks for participating in the compo though, but on a production level, it was pretty poor. Better luck next time :)
As m0d said.. We really didn't intend it to be third while making it on laptop at a bar on friday. :D But we had fun making it so I won't try to make any excuses or dislike our product. I promise we'll do a more "demoish" product at assembly next time :D
Trace, no, we're thumbing it down because it's hideously ugly, poorly paced (just count the seconds of dead time between lines in the dialogue, for Christ's sake), and the humour, which is supposed to be the essence of this production, is even at best an embarrassing collection of computer and video game culture references.

I disagree with the 3rd place as well, but I actually liked the demo somewhat. The thumb is for the demo itself, not the ranking.
And come on, it was just a public vote, and everyone has their own opinions - including the vast majority of voters who hadn't really got inside the deep traditions of demo esthetics. I guess I would have voted for something like this at Asm'95 (my first actual demoparty) after getting really bored for all the "meaningless" object/effect shows.
