Looks a _lot_ like something my friend did in Qbasic once. Of course, it wasn't 256b. Maybe the flames should change color too as the text does.
next time try something more experimental. this effect is a <understatement> little cheesy </understatement>.
I agree with plek. 256b rocks, though.

sofokles: I think you can find plek contributions to the scene in 'The Pimp Brigade' productions. The fire effect in this demo has been done a million times before, but it's alright, everybody has to start from somewhere.
