It didn't have the epic effects of some other demos, but this is definitely the most solid and consistent prod in the competition. The design is excellent, the flow is perfect and is a perfect example on how to make an Amiga demo.

My favourite demo in the compo. Really awesome soundtrack and nice design/graphics. Enjoyed it a lot. Perfect proof that you don't really need advanced effects to make a good demo. :)

The best I've seen from Britelite and great to see Slayer and Jazzcat back! The first few screens (especially the screenshot) are awesome but I think it gets a little boring after a while with rotating objects and scrolling overlays.. All in all a great demo anyhow

Mixed feelings over this one. Nice design which could've used better typography, pleasant tune which would've been better with less singing, plus embarassing scenepoetry which should've been left out alltogether. Cool effects, 2D and the 8 bit surprise saved it :)

Agreed with visy, though I think from technical standpoint some effects in previous prods coded by Britelite were nicer. Otherwise, content and design-wise, this seems superior. For some reason the whole theme made me think about those Carl Sagan & co "music videos" (A Glorious Dawn). Weird, but somehow appropriate at the same time. \:D/

In every Amiga demo compo there is one release which stands out with stunning amount of 2D graphics content.
This compo had at least 2 of them.
With this coop the "matchmaker" of the small Amiga scene at ADA brought three of the top notch guys together and it totally worked ... as predicted \o/

Soundtrack, graphics, synch, idea, message and compactness make this demo one of the best ever. That proves there is no need to have fantastic 3D engine and massive effects to make one of the greatest demo.

This is really great but for some reason I had initially almost no memory of this from BP and I _did_ watch this completely sober ;). Maybe it was the bad scene poetry that rejected everything from my memory. Bad scene poetry aside, this demo has great design, effects, music and graphics :). And the 8-bit part is really entertaining ;).
Moral compo winner.

Never really liked it all that much... boring visuals (3d objects and other rotating stuff), harsh edges on the 2d, harsh four-to-the-floor sync, some messy palettes. Decent enough design though despite the lack of attention to details, and a neat soundtrack.
Nice music and graphics but the code... What CPU is enough to display smooth scroll on Amiga? Probably 68000. But 68040/40 Mhz is not enough to have smooth scroll in "Metropolice".

First Ghostown demo I've seen somewhere in 2012'ish, when I got my Apollo card upgraded to 060 and returned to Amiga demoscene business after years. I love the whole demo but it's the music that makes it special to me. Kinda melancholic... still plays in the back of my head...
