Really, so what you are saing is that one has to have a piece of obscure hardware to enjoy this one?
yes (PC SUX)
Cap it, captain!
capturing it prooves also very difficult... to begin with, it requires 50Hz capturing, and as shown by going lowres/trsi, postproducing to convert 25Hz to 50Hz is also a difficult task..
Vic20 isn't as common as c64, but it's hardly obscure.
I enjoyed watching this one at BP, and I'll probably transfer it for viewing on real hardware sometime :_)

Is it really some kind of trick to display a greyscale?...I cant afford a real Vic20 to find out...

Interesting.
Everything new for Commodore VIC-20 is desirable. :)

Ran it on my VIC20 connected to old CRT, and I didn't see any greyscale trick, just switching between black and white each frame...?
sdw: indeed, thats how the demo was meant to be..
nice trick, I bet it doesn't flicker with a monitor/tv of vc20 age (with slow phosphor)? :)
Thumb for platform!
xD
