Awesome gfx and design again. And fab music too!!!! And good code.
The only thing i miss in Mawi demos is some more energy, synchro and faster speed effects (more like polka stuff).
And there is a high quality divx available encoded by Mawi dudes themselves.

nice stuff. and if i remember correctly they had problems showing this on big screen and it didn't run in full speed that might've dropped the demo from top3 (where it should've been for sure).

pretty cool stuff, although the design is a lil' cliche for mawi.. and it goes on forever, which is why it won't get no thumb from me.. 8]
I was quite blown away when I saw this, but I can't help thinking that they're wasting their talents on the PPC.

Still, to determine the level of impressed I should be, I need to know a bit more of the HW. What kind of power are we talking about (in PC terms). PPC == about a first gen P2 in speed? What about 3D, was some kind of 3D card used?

this is how i like demos, beautiful, stylish, nice code(sdw: there are dozens of ppc's but the ones used for amigas is about the same as p1 if i'm not wrong, got a mac with the same kinda cpu..). the messages about being a scener really reminded me of one thing that's lost me.. it's about doing nice stuff.
in disc 1 part:
very good music wich worth the download of the big video file (122Mb)
i dont understand the link between jesus and heavy trafic of cars
i like a lot the bridge part, all is good in this part
the texts layers are too much static
greetings takes too much time and didnt fit the colors of the whole demo
credits are made in a good movie style, but it miss the nicknames
the picture with lots of photos and text in the vocal part of the music didnt fit the rest of the demo, and this picture is ugly ;)
the coherency between scenes are colors, but not heavy traffic
in disc 2 part:
the music is good but didnt fit the thema of the rest of the demo
this part is too long and boring, and credits are allready be done in the start of the prod

crusified jesus on tv-screens...this demo seems to have some kind of message that i don't understand. it's really cool anyway...can't remember seeing it at mekka though. but when i look at it now i can't understand why it didn't rank higher.
i can only agree with knos. tho' substance is still member of MAWI i guess =]
i am not after minimalism and short-blast-like-appearance but MAWI mostly overdoses everything.. they always have lot of nice (also original) fx, great gfx as well, sometimes even superb music but it all somehow doesnt work well.. this time again :|
