I just can't understand why you didn't use that spare 1306 bytes. The music sounds really terrible, why didn't you just sit down for an hour and fill that extra with some nice filters and such..

Actually this 2,72kb intro was coded directly at the party from scratch, and we ran out of time adding more stuff. its done with pixelshader v3.0 - so the screenshot you show here is wrong.
This seemed partyhacked all the way, but hey, not that bad compared to that.

yeah this was hacked together at the party place, you need a pixelshader 3.0 card, then the "ball" will look really cool, unfortunatly the screenshot here was taken from a pixelshader 2.0 card, where the nice effect is missing totally (thus it looks a bit dull)
i watched it through dtv while it was being hacked and it was looking quite great compared to this screenshot (even though everything looks cooler on dtv due to downsampling (: ). unfortunately i don't have the hardware to watch it again.
