@stingray : the player in the intro is buggy so the tune is sometimes 0.5 a note off and some parameters don't sound the same. I sort of enjoy the fucked up version just because it fucks up though. The soundtrack was in the exe music compo so it might show up at scene.org in a while :)

I dont get a black screen either. it crash before display anything. Windows XP SP 3, Nvidia 8800GT, c2d 3ghz. windows dont really give me any info about why it crashes though. :/

i really liked the music!! the nitpickers are just sissies who can't stand anything than happytrance and demostyle ambient!
oh and i really liked the visuals too, especially given how this was mostly a partyhack. the groupnamescrollers were very nice, my compliments to quisten for that part.
i like the distorted style and the spooky synth-killer-zak !

ATI Black Screen Of Death.
Win7 x64, ATI 4870, latest catalyst drivers == Sadly just only a black screen with music! However screenshot looks nice and very interesting!
Surely the widely-known ATI shader compilation problem. Black screen on every ATI.
Isn't the "widely-known ATI shader compilation problem" an OpenGL specific problem? As far as I know, the D3D shader compiler is part of D3DX and thus independent of the underlying graphics hardware/driver.

Yeah I was right: to all of you with crash on nVidia cards, add a custom 1280x720 resolution in the nvidia control panel.

You are falsely assuming that the limiting factor for the contents of this intro was the available space. ;)
music kicks ass almost as much as the interference pattern!
Blueberry: I was closely watching your progress, don't remember? ;) As for limiting factors, probably entire party was aware of them (something along the "they are still trying to produce working executable" line when intro compo was getting delayed). ;)

I don't understand why people keep thumbing this down, and especially not "because of the music". Sure, it's just a teaser, but it looks cool (way to bring back the huge scrollers :) and it sounds cool. No thumb up because it's lacking in contect/length :)

I don´t understand at all why people don´t like this music. it is dark and sets the mood perfectly. I absolutely love it! The big scroller rocks as well. A tune like this with a longer intro would be awesome! so I love that this is just the teaser and I am waiting for the final extra long version :D

haha.. i was actually drinking with some of the keyboarders idiots when one of them said "lets make a 4k". that was about an hour or so before the compo started. proves that alcohol is good 4 u! and yes, this rocks :)

Also got a blank screen (still heard the weird music) on my updated XP Pro. SP3 machine with an ATI Radeon 4870 video card (512 MB of RAM). :(
Great music with fitting visuals... although that kind of spelling (Keeboarders, Loonees, Keendergarden) isn't so kewl.

I have uploaded a fixed version which appears to work on ATI cards (as usual it is not ATI who are at fault but rather NVIDIA who are too forgiving).
