quisten: dlls? newest d3d is a must have.
I got the same error as quisten.
make sure you have d3dcompiler_42.dll installed too
updated directx, that fixed that problem.
Now all I get is "device lost", but the problem might be between the keyboard and the chair.

Same error as Quisten. Updated with DX9 aug 2009 redist, put both mentioned DLL files in the demo folder also... waiting anxiously for a version that works on XP SP2...

runs fine on my machine, XP SP2 ;)
All games and previous demos run fine on my XP SP2 too. ;)
kusma: not on mine then (Windows 7) - just blank screen then crash.
After a reboot, it ran. But yeah, loading time is a bitch. :) Music and mustaches makes the prod!
