Hey, I really liked how this starts and while the effects are char resolution, the choice of the chars are original and is mixed with some designish things that makes it enjoyable (credits electronic design, ants, etc). The music is quite lovely too. I like it and it's a very good for first demo and nice way for byterapers to be back on C64.
Nice. I like the special character set in the lowres effects. Though I must admit the ants are creeping me out a bit!

Seeing Suckho's name made me have such high expectations that can't be met after just 7 weeks with the machine. Still a good demo, and I am hoping for more.

Great stuff. Tune rocked and code was good especially for C-64 virgin. You can see that Suckho hasn't been making C-64 demos for last 20 years. I mean that this demo wasn't stuck into rigid form like way too many demos on old platforms. There actually was some style. Only thing that broke it was those sprite bugs. They were funny though.
You really made my day! ;) The 24-theme made me laugh, I don't remember the last time I was amused by a c64demo content. The whole thing is really good connected and respect for a one-man-work with own music. The only thing I don't adore is the really slow diskscanner... I think this will get boring on a real C64 without Warpmode 8(

Nice demo, but the framerate was a little low at times (particularly during the twisters). Also neat charsets for the 8x8 effects! Some of the effects were far too chunky though... But very good work for 7 weeks on the C64.

The idea of using 24 as the plot is excellent (though I though the demo had broken down because the intermediate time displays do not count the seconds ;-).

best newcomer release this year, which had a nice kickstart with grg's excellent take on lightforce by grg. i liked the overall freshness, where the colorscheme probably took some guilt. not gonna get deeper in on the 24-theme that sprung out inbetween, but overall it's a fucking blast for a firstie on the c64.
but as i just mentioned over at csdb, that (b)-c64-section-mention didn't have to be, did it. :)
