For a first 4k this is not bad indeed. It does lack content though but I guess you're aware of that. :) So keep going, looking forward to seeing your next 4k!

i like it; keep up the good work! thanks for including the source code. although my experience with real size coding is limited, i am somewhat interested in 4k coding using (assembler-supported) vc++. i hope i find the time to read the source in detail!

This is a good first attempt for a 4k, you're definitely going into the right direction. But you still have so many things in the code that can be thrown out, without looking into further details I'd say you could make the intro 1/3 - 1/4 smaller. Keep up the good work!
