wow
nice idea
great lion!
nice =)
i like this one a lot
i like this one a lot
Fine one
cute
polygons
Lionel rox.
nice, but not very original
nice one
Precalc'ed poly approximation. Not very procedural indeed.
blala knows
looks nice
blala is right, but i like the polygonal look :)
nice lion !
nice lion !
nice! <3
precalced or not, it's nice.
Idea is nice but result is not. This is just a too much compressed image. It looks good only if you go away from monitor for 3 meters. I do not have suach a lot of space in my room! :)
Kewl!
a bit as with inslexia, this one is perhaps more about compression than procedural modeling. BUT, it's very nice and it is important that we do research. So megathumb up.
370 polygons, with 3 verts each, two 10 bit coords (for a 1024px canvas) each and one byte color, that would be 370*(3*20b+8b) = 3145 B. Then 1k is left for startup and drawing. Is this hypothesis anyhow close to right? Explain please.... :)

btw, the process doesn't close on exit. Try using ExitProcess(0)
blala: and some other guys used diffusion curves... so what?
really cool prod, kudos.
really cool prod, kudos.
yeh reminded me of the mona lisa experiment as well, nice tho
nice one! good job! :)
Lion king
raaaawwrrr
nice
roar :3
nice !
It's a cool production regardless of whether it 'really' is procedural or not. Thumbs up!

Hi all, thanks for the feedback.
Iq: That's close! Polygons here are strips though. I have versions with triangles that don't compress as well. Each poly is a strip of up to 10 verts, so you need to add the number of verts per poly. There's 1k for Crinkler+code.
I left the ExitProcess() in debug only, damn. Would have fitted nicely too. I trimmed too much fat at the last minute. At least I left auto-ratio correction in (projector was 4:3, so aimed at that).

:) <- made me smile
Did you take the photo yourself?
oks.

haha, the scene.org award to the most risky production?
Could give a new meaning to "bleeding over this intro" :P
:)
Somewhat interesting, deserves a thumb.
this looked fantastic on the big screen
rather precalculated than procedural graphics, but still rockz!
Awesome!
nice looking!
meow
wicked pic, i really dont care about the technical details.. it was just lovely to see on the bigscreen! aww..
This really does look great.
interesting idea :)
But this is just this guys code, no ?

nice
The lion is well scary, but surely you could fit more than 370 polys in 4k?
hi tec
nice
