Absolutely not my cup of tea, each part is shown way too long and not really interesting anyway. Nice music though.

what
A tad on the long side, but very soothing.

cubes overlay background, too dark. nothing going on. music is dominant and better than the visuals.

rasmus er tilbage og beviser at kasser kan være smukke! klaus er også dygtig

hello and thanks for the comments. size, length and duration is always a matter of subjective evaluation.

klaus, sorry about the e-mail mess. i'll try to fix a video soonish.
Very pretty and atmospheric.

Music is excellent, but I've been listening to this track frequently for over a year via Winamp.

The background picture looks like someone just stretched a thumbnail and pulled some random sliders around in Photoshop and the blue artifacts look like a bad mistake. The scenes also jump into each other without any transitions.

The effects themselves are pretty interesting and well done, but I personally hated the coder design.

way too repetitive and boring :(

Might not be the best style for a demo compo, but I enoyed it nevertheless. I would have liked to see some more variation in the visuals though.

Also, was there any particular reason you used your real names instead of your scene handles in this prod... I mean, besides pretentiousness ;D *lol*.

kkapture it men!
added on the 2009-07-21 16:18:50 by psonice psonice
Haha, one more thing: I really laughed when a drunken Kusma exclaimed something like this during the compo: "Memento Mori? Memento MORI!? I've spent all my time on the scene trying to prevent demos with names like this!!" ;D. Or words to that effect. He seemed to be in that kinda mode at the time ("Cornell box!?") ;D.

nice music, sadly the visuals arent as captivating
I like the music but everything else is pretty average and boring.

i'm trying to fix a kkaptured version, however the audio seems to fail for some reason ...
A beautiful whole but some scenes were repeated.

I wasn't wearing my contact lenses, so I thought the title was "Memento mordi". Which would have been an awesome title.

soothing music, but the visuals were quite far from constituting a unity.

Some nice composition in here, especially the last scene with the modernist structure surrounded by photo collage.

A bit long, though.

From the screenshot I was expecting interesting rendering or post-processing, but it turned out to be just a 2D background layer. Too bad. Couldn't really get excited about anything here, even though there were some nice design ideas. Visualice makes better Visualice-demos.

The music saves it, other then that it was boring.

"Dette programmet kunne ikke starte fordi programvarekonfigurasjonen er feil. Hvis du installerer programmet på nytt, kan dette løse problemet." (I could translate it into English, but I take it Danes understand Norwegian. :-) )

WinXP32 / Radeon X1050 / latest everything AFAIK.

I wonder what went wrong with you Sesse. I haven't had that problem anywhere else (tried Win7, Vista and Win XP).

it would be great if the down-thumbers could elaborate instead of just leaving an empty comment ...
The music is fantastic, but the rest is not really that interesting. The overlays and the graphics in general is not of a very high quality, which is strange, considering the fact that you have access to a great graphician like Farfar in Loonies. It's difficult to see what is actually going on, and thus I cannot really comment on the codework.

Therefore, I only start up this demo to listen to the music.
sucks added on the 2009-07-28 10:57:59 by Corial Corial
thanks for the comment, even though i disagree :-)
@Macaw: that's only understandable when you have spend a lot of time on the project. Judging on the votes /comments so far, it also seems that it is only me who's being somewhat negative. But anyways, just do what you feel like doing - that is what it is all about imo.
added on the 2009-07-28 12:34:55 by Corial Corial
i suppose it all depends on what one expects to find in a demo. if one expects fancy new fragment shaders one is in the wrong place :-)
Tough i whould like it but i dident

Nice and moody. It's got a high result/effort ratio, which isn't a bad thing. I'd have avoided the "transition to white" and the "death star balls". Thumbs up for me anyway.

Klaus just put the tune up on http://xerxes-music.com/
I just ran this flawlessly on my christmas present - an asus eee pc netbook model 1005ha seashell.

Didn't enjoy the overlay/visuals at the beginning but this great music progressively change my mind, nice.
