Yeah, it's pretty silly. When I made the music (roughly a 4 hour job), I had NO idea what the demo would be like. The "UFOs" sample was added later by someone else. I was surprised the demo placed 9th - I didn't think it would even get shown. :) I guess it's what you'd call a "cult classic".

yeah, definitely a cult classic! it was great fun in 95, I haven't remembered this demo in years but seeing that screenshot caused me to laugh out loud so I guess I'll have to watch it again soon :)

I remember when i saw this on my 386... :P ehe. almost nine years ago... (ok, eight and a half) BoyC just said what I wanted to.
it really looks awfull today yes, but when it first came out i remember it was really cool to watch. a great inspiration too because there was not that much complex effects in the demo, but it was a good demo even if that, and the story was fun, and the music was good (at that time).

Grafx weren't too impressive, but the soundtrack totally rocked (still hear it today...)

This demo has not survived well the test of time, but still a goldie in my books. Music rocks still!
I remember when this came out and I just thought (with apologies to gooroo): "man, the code and graphics are pretty bad, but the music is great!" But then, what did you expect from a release by a music group? Thumb for the music, though, and for the nostalgia. "The real evidence of UFOs.."
