Where I feel you on the msx and propeller part (and hey, lft won!) I don't feel you on the nds and psp part. The nds demos were tepid at best and the psp demo was a serious let down.
But this owned and it is awesome it came second!

okkie, oh yes, no issue :) and yes the word "even" is missing after "propeller" I agree. By the way each year I feel the same, the BP wild compo is too difficult to judge, releases are not comparable. Oldskoolish people like me love lowtech stuff, while some other love funny/wild/strange stuff...
I love the scene for doing crazy things like demos (ab)using excel cells as pixels!

@Shazz: you are right about the BP wild compo, it is too difficult to judge. I would love to see a separate console compo with oldskool entries :)
I loved the doublebuffering :) But perhaps some excel specific effects next time? (dunno what those would be, but hey, this is the demoscene...)
