Intrinsic, yes there is a lot of new UNREAL versions, but they are using BASS.DLL and less stable.

Words cannot describe how much you rule ! How pity there are no more elite speccy sceners like Digital Reality, Placebo, Progress, Antares or others to compete with. This demo can very easily win any of ZX mega-parties like Enlight 97, FT 98 or CC 00.

Seems like it wasn't hard to time it for ZX128K. I used Velesoft's TAP file. Worx perfectly OK.

Yo! I suspected that but wasn't able to check it out because my convertors make TZX only (grrrrr) and it can't be loaded by divIDE's system "fatware". :(

Finally I watched it on a real machine (look at raww.org for download link to a fixed version)... Awesome! Once again awesome and breathtaking!!! At last melodic and aggressive music in a russian demo with perfectly synced visuals taking every piece of the attribute colour magic. No lies, the truth what is animation and what is realtime in the credits part. Thanks guys! I love it!

Has some good effects (e.g. the kaleidoscope), but the design is somewhat jarring with its equal 15 seconds per effect. I've seen much better Spectrum demos around, also from triebkraft & 4th Dimension.

This is SO boring...
Well, sub-optimal code in many effects, looks like struggling for total size and being rather lazy and using double screen in ALL effects, many precalced animation-like effects (is depacking animation on-the-fly is still animation or not?), 1.5 real one-frame effects (I've counted stars moving both directions and twister), and finally, not too cool to be almost at the top (herd effect, heh :)), so I have to thumbdown :-D

I totally admire the music which is an impulsive pumping firework. Not sure about technical achievement - this surely doesn't look like made with an animation tool! - but I also can't judge what's realtime and what's not. It's also impressive how you got such a design done with the limited colors the ZX has to offer. Nice one!

Just run the demo on my spectrum zx+ 2a I have since 1988 using the tap :) Beautiful! Some effects are not 100% on zx+2a, but most work, I love it :)

When a demo gets into top three prods for the platform, esp. platform with such a rich scene history as ZX Spectrum, many people tends to complain about it. Supposedly, it is just not as good as some other demo, or it is not a coding feat enough, or the pixel graphics in it are relatively sparse. However, this demo is in the top 3 for over ten years now and it gets a steady stream of positive comments, which must count for something.
So, to put is simply. This is one of the most "complete" demos on the platform. Of course, it is imperfect and it can be criticised for various things. However, it just works, the music does not get tiresome and the kaleidoscope is just as exciting as when I saw it for the very first time. It just works together well and this is a lot more than can be said about many other contenders for the top.
