NICE!
nice! u should have captured Met/rbs dancing though :)
good work, guys. unusual and creative.
Hey that was pretty cool.
original concept, smooth and stylish execution.
big probs.
big probs.
Felt like 9 fingers 2. Which isn't a bad thing :D
wootass
Excellent! The visuals were a bit rough, but the idea is superb and it was wonderfully executed.
A really pleasant surprise and enjoyable to watch!
A really pleasant surprise and enjoyable to watch!
If you go for chick style, you must go all the way. So, it's nice, but severely lacking in the style department.
the best fresh! prod so far in my book - every part fits
Cute idea and well enough executed to work. Well done :)
music is good other is ok.
Nice and fluent at full resolution on my MBP. I can't help feeling this is sort of a next generation Lost Blub
nice tech/idea.
the demo itself fails to deliver anything interesting with it

Nice idea but the boring music is a huge setback.
yeaha! excellent idea :) another way of getting your girlfriend into the scene, eh? :)
Wow
Fresh indeed :) (one trick pony though, but that's okay :)
if you need a sexy dancer i'm available for hire!!!
it was cool and different
Interesting concept :)
Could do with more polish, but it's entertaining enough (variety in the reuse of the effect) to not be boring :)
9 fingers, 1 thumb.
Very very cool idea and so.... fresh! :)
what okkie said
Cool and original, but too repetitive :/.
Pretty cool, the length was allright too. Additional thumbs for some kind of originality.
absolutely lulez!
quite good execution! worked out pretty well!
2nd part? :D
quite good execution! worked out pretty well!
2nd part? :D
er okay
Great idea. I like the pushing cubes thing. Although I was expecting it more energetic like state of the art or 9 fingers, but somehow the music didn't fit in that style..
Cool demo that runs fine even in old hardware, like my laptop.
This were not realy fair, Should been placed higher! Great work all involved!
The best demo from fresh!mindworkz. I just love it :)
Very nice.
reFRESHing.
grat pasy, csak igy tovabb! :)
grat pasy, csak igy tovabb! :)
innovative, honors the group name! the final credits are simply great :)
nice idea and solid execution in the code and music department.
nevertheless i have the impression that the girl is a bit under the weather. it seems like she has no feeling for rhythm..

Inevitably reminds me of state of the art. Fun prod, though I wish the girl was a bit more into the music...she seems a bit aloof.
most original concept.
(melcsi, legkozelebb mosolyogni ;)

Would've gained a lot with a more energetic soundtrack, but nice little production anyway.
hmm, a feel-good demo that doesn't really deliver. nothing about this feels bad in any way, but nearly every scene feels "incomplete" - there's enough substance there, but it lacks the salt, and as a result the whole thing seems kind of flavorless. that goes for the music, too - it's 80% of a great track, but i think it would've been much better if it was a bit more playful and less formulaic.
Some kind of eye-toy
Good demo, nice idea, well executed, probably worked really well on a big screen. The dancing could've been a bit more energetic though :)
most original concept? this is just a modern take on sota or 9fingers. how original! anyway, i cannot thumb down demos with gurlz in it!!!1
Doesn't work for me.
Cool idea! Great demo!
Pasy: Thanks the greeting! ;)
Pasy: Thanks the greeting! ;)
fresh! (duh!) - not amazing, yet still entertaining enough for a thumb.
Ooh, sorry for piggie... Rulez! ;)
fun!
Very, very, very entertaining! Great music and the best credit sequence ever!
entertaining as hell, kinda lacked some extra edge on visuals and content but still... here's my thumb anyways
Cool idea, but pathetic moves. That girl really looks bored as hell
Like evil, this make feel like a Lost Blubb sequel. However I don't like the choreography.
WOW - great idea and very well presented !
Very Fresh! concept
good job fellas
good job fellas
Love the credit sequence
Didn't Madonna had a tune that almost like this one?
True! well, Mirwais was her producer for a while, so... pardon me :P
The dancing wasn't that good, and the visuals were a bit plain, but the idea rules.
Pretty good. Extra points for the OS X port. :)
Nice show!
NICE
dancing girl with glowing cubes....
hell of a concept ;)

I don't use peecees, so I could not watch it.

Easy to see who has watched a couple of Spaceballs demos to much :)
But the demo feels a bit empty and doesn't deliver what it sets out to achieve.

nice -- but tries to pull too much from too little -- this thumb up is for doing more with the (albeit old) live video/mocap & fx combo in the future. that could be fun.
State of the art/9 Fingers Pc version
Like it.
Like it.
i was expecting quite much from you guys and you bring a sota 2008 version? a girl that can't dance and really ugly colors? wtf? seriously, wtf? the greetings part looks great but the rest...
no. absolutely no.
next time plz get a girl
a) that can dance
b) that can dance sexy
c) that can dance sexy but not with the speed of a drug-addict
d) that can dance sexy but not with the speed of a drug-addict in a lame SotA-ripoff/remake/whatever.
Sorry, but no, this was in no possible way as energetic as the demo you obviously took as inspiration.

neat idea but this looks and feels very very unfinished
at first i thought this was cheap, but the work put into this is enormous. more of a tech demo thing than a scene prod, but good ideas...
Sweet!
Inofficial thumb for the idea. But unfortunatly you choose someone who can't dance and has the charisma of a trash can. So here's my piggy.
nice
This was quite nice.
what Puryx said
There was State Of The Art, 9 Fingers and now, State of the crap...
nice ideas, but the demo looks a bit simple and dull. could have been great
what spengler said.
Trace: Agreed, when I ran the demo for the first time I got this feeling as well. The rythmic is quite similar to Music.
state of the art in 2008! not as fascinating and impressive as the oldie, but a good demo.
nice idea but super cheesy execution :\
Now the pc scene has a "State of the art"
Has quite a few original elements and puts cubes'n ribbons in a rather unique environment. Can't keep up with Lost Blubb though ;-)
neat idea
wooh excellent effects, with new ideas over sota!
however it doesn't beat sota powerfulness and 9fingers freshness :p
however it doesn't beat sota powerfulness and 9fingers freshness :p
It was quite excellent... as said by so many others, the influence is clear. I agree with Zest that it's not quite as innovative as it's influence, but how can it be? Almost more like a tribute. Still, well deserving of a thumb up.
good job, but the dancer could have been better and more energetic. Some neat effects in there too!
Really nice feeling, positive and all. Would need a bit more pace though. But overall, I just love it ! :D
I prefer State of the Art though. :)
i dig the idea. but can one actually any less excited than she does? that really destroys it for me.
+move
"State of the art" for fresh ones.
"Lyra 2"(1991) for oldies. =)
"Lyra 2"(1991) for oldies. =)
a bit too much of a music video for me. still, i expected it to be much bigger and it got so much better after a minute. could maybe win the award for most original concept =)
Great!
Great Music, more dancing demos :)
what rp said.
The end is really cool. And what Frozzy said.
neat, enjoyed watching it :)
great concept!
hm... not my cup of tea ....
many new things here. Very interesting.
I liked !
I enjoyed it : who cares about the rest.
"Badly executed and boring" (2008) for me.
Liked the cube-disintegration-whatever-thing, though.
Liked the cube-disintegration-whatever-thing, though.
Well.. ok. Nice music.
This was difficult to watch, though the music could be partially to blame for that. It's an interesting idea, but nothing beyond what you'd expect to achieve with a minimal amount of experimentation. Give me real innovation and I will give you a thumb.
great idea and it works on my pc and airbook (just about). Well done.
Mostly mediocre, but you get my thumb for the cool greets tunnel.
nice concept, i agree with what everyone said about the need for better fitting music, but still very good
what rp said. nice mixture of video and effects, but it still comes off a bit dull. and maybe monochrome video cubes aren't as impressive as they used to be. :) the concept has more potential.
Not bad. Could be better.
Real nice :) Thanks for the greetings.
it´s an insult to compare with legendary Spaceball demos. Choreography, music, effects was way better in 9N and SOTA than this.
not a sota but i liked it. here's ma thumb
not even close for me
fresh! nice idea ...could be expanded a lot, i guess. what about tracking with color/lights instead of clicking?, would be a lot easier to try things out, maybe even in realtime. but i don't know how good it works though... :x
The dancer seems to be totally bored and the music is totally boring too. Didn't manage to watch it till the end...
Except for the nice greetings part (which is the reason for a VERY WEAK piggie) there's nothing I like here. The "great idea/original concept" comments made me laugh tho. :D

Haha come on, are u kidding me, comparison to sota by spaceballs can not be ignored and this is nowhere near the old classic. where is the energy ?? sorry it's not a suck, but the old amiga demo is still king of this kinda style
ahh, actually the girl can't dance at all.
It's not SOTA but it's a nice idea. I agree that the dancer could have been more like the girls from spaceballs with their neat costumes and their mad dancing skillz :)
nice, especially the cubewall cleaning and the credits part
It's cool & unlike nowadays PC-demos.
Good work !
Good work !
Only now did someone (guybrush) put it together for me that this could have something to do with the playstation move (hand wands with glowing balls), announced a year later.
"Cool and original, but too repetitive :/. "
What Stingray said.
not a jawdropper, but nice anyway
gave it an okay when it came out, but i think i wanna give it a rulez now. the effects coming from the handheld mocap devices is still a "fresh" idea.
State of the art!
Amigaaaaaaaaa
great, i fell in love with the girl :)
lol. girl looks bored.
kinda nice, but then again also a bit boring..
doesn't work on today's intel Macs ..
well look at you with your funky lasers and cubes!!
sure
I love it. And the girl is not dancing, rather drawing.
Like the idea and the execution, but unfortunately the girl doesn't seem to like it as much! Looks pretty uninspired. Kind of kills it!
