Not much graphics, but nice soundsynth + simple vocoder. Sunman says, that first vocoder in 4k ever. As for me: I don't know :)

"this intro features the world's first vocoder (vomit coder) in 4kb intro :-)"

ugly rainbow colors... the music started promising but i expected more... and where was the vocoder ? :P

i mean, it's far from bein a bad production, but as windows 4k standarts are set really high nowadays (varus, gracchus, störfall ost), one expects quite much...

2dipswitch: read the readme carefully and have a sense of humour :)

okay, for those looking for vocoder here's the harsh truth: it's those those 'weaurgh' sounds in the very end of this intro. 'vomit coder', got it?.. it's russian humor, boys, get used to it.. 8))

bhead: seems even worse than german humor ;)

Well, it's sleepless coder's humour. Now it doesn't seems so funny to me. %-)

runs unnecessarily slow on my w98 k6-III
but, hey, still nice music for a 4k, so what about releasing the source, SunmaN?

fyi: the first vocoder in a 4k was in void 3 (when was it? 1999?). and the full source of that is available. (http://www.active-web.cc/html/research/)

can't seem to download this one - it times out.

incidentally, doesn't a vocoder extract formant data from an input signal ?

2mizc: It is my synth, which is aviable with sources at:
http://www.throb.newmail.ru/sunman/files/synth.zip

version in 4kb is heavily optimized for size

hmm.. ugly visuals ;) but the music is quite nice. there was another vocoder in a dialogos 2k1 4k by delta9 and franky, stating: 'dialogos rulez' (called 'c++ 4k' afaik) they released the sources some months ago

The effects(?) were kinda lame, but the sound quality was great for 4K! (Even better than many 64K'ers...)
Heh, I must be sick but I really digged it.
