Please, use what you learned and make a good intro out of it.

It's neat stuff but pouet.net cares more for full intros and all, so try to make something really neat. A fast full-size intro with some new effects would be interesting, see what kind of effects you can do in 512 bytes if 256 is too hard with api calls, but don't release till you've had a week or so to perfect it and make it really interesting.

Otherwise, you'll just get more thumb downs. Pouet, sometimes, has standards!

And if it's really, REALLY neat, submit it to a compo. ;p Maybe you'll win something out of it. :)

Interesting concept, but the 'SETUP.EXE' which much be ran, is >128b and defeats the purpose :)

miksam7 will guide you to scene-fame, young padavan. but don't obey to the dark side of the Force by adding every bit you made to pouet.

You should try to make the address injection fit to small size, even if that means that you can't do <= 256B any more. Now the size of your intro is somewhat around setup executable + intro executable + the screensaver executable. E.g. quite bad in my opinion.

Kudos for the injection trick you made but it's really not worth more than one release. Good luck for making something more interesting in the near future!

LOL! I understand, but I just had to show you this one. My goal has been to make the tiniest Windows .exe files with something watchable. It's been fun. Regard it as something educational. Anyway, regarding ssflwbox.scr, I couldn't use it because I only had room for 14b or less (see .asm code, the line with ssmyst can't be longer than 14b).

Lol. Isn't that cheating? But it was kinda fun because at first I thought hey finally an effect. Line routines in 96 bytes? But then it reminded me a particular screen saver. Thinking it as similar to some other cheating intros it's a bit fun for a while. But maybe you code a true intro oneday.

*.scr, * can be a maximum of 8 bytes long!
"*.scr /" [terminating zero is in AddressOfEntryPoint]
any of the standard XP screensavers can be used.
