Finally found the image in question after viewing a lot of yaphan demos. It must be summer.jpg which we used as a placeholder when waiting for the final set of textures. Unfortunately it wasn't changed before deadline and we apologize. If you want to we can do an update and change the image, or leave it as is if that's ok with you?
I'll have a talk with Guru to get your address and send a rectifying bottle of Whiskey.

Quality sw rendering! The bent clock.. eh.. time..indicators (what are they called?) you added were cool.
My fave part is the spikeball in the tunnel with radial blur.
I already told you that texture looked familiar and should have been replaced with a city inspired texture instead!!!! It looks like it has been made with the airbrush in ms paint for extreme realism!
Also the guy with the open mouth should definetly have puked the twister out of his mouth too, but NOOOO.. NOOO.. dont listen to loaderror, he is evil!!

It is not bad for software rendering. I would have optimized it for multicores. As whole demo, I like it.

It seemed pretty SFC inspired, though. But still, loads of good stuff. There are some design that I think is pretty ugly though, and some bad color combinations, but that's it. Very impressive :)

yes, those under the bridge or in a tunnel scenes remind me of ephidrena also, but i like it, especially this magic water effect. it looks somewhat fresh to me, because it is not a standard 3d flyby, like in most modern demos. even if those flybys have more complex rendering techniques. design is incoherent in some places. music is very good to my taste.
the music was great but i couldnt see the brilliance visually... apart from lemmy.

Is good - but lacks some punch (gfx/sync-wise) me thinks, and that landscape part is a bit of an eye-sore. I must second loaderror, though: Hail accordion!

Didnt like the music, and the use of ripped gfx spoiled the whole thing for me, the effects were cool but still many years old and done before. The whole thing seemed like it was trying to be a mishmash of bits and bobs from the past. piggy for the sw rendering effort.

I'm a sucker for software rendering, and not only that, the end part made me laugh :D
I have mixed feelings about this one. The demo is good but I don't really get why you decide to do scenes in software that don't call for it. Your stuff would have been much nicer using hardware. IMHO choosing software over hardware - when the platform is PC - doesn't really make sense unless the effect can't be done in hw.
