will take the upcomming weekend for a deeper inquiry regarding 010,020 instructions (no the P61 was set to 0x0 ... seems to be the 3d stuff and that's not my code). Problem is that my Asm (one or pro ...both of 'em) are crashing when debugging in 68000 mode. Thus it's difficult to spot the "culprits". BTW, what about this ECS machine ;)

dodge: start asm1/pro, press right alt+crsr down->cpu 68000->tick the "processor warn" checkbox->now you'll see where 68020+ instructions are used in your code. ;)
Almost nobody had an a3000 back then (even less nowadays) it's not canonical, and if some teenagers could do this on a bare a500 while you need a3000 for that you may want to reconsider your career.
As someone adequately put, the a500 (512k chip + 512k fast + 68000) is the only Amiga configuration that make sense today all others are just about craving for processing power (actually most aga prods look like 90's msdos demos to me).
Having a well defined standard always helps developing a scene.

hitch: I'm not gonna start argueing with you about what "schoolkids" with a lot of spare time did back then. Wanna kick my butt? Get bottom up and release a straight a500 intro next year! That's the way it's supposed to be, not ranting around on bloody pouet. If you want to down it because it's not gonna work on a 500/600/2000 because of lame code ... do so ... I don't care ;P
