fairly decent articles so far - guess i shouldnt be reading at work though.
I'm pretty sure that this one will get a lot of "hugi sucks" thumb downs, but you know what? This edition of hugi is actually pretty good by any standard.
Granted, I didn't read it very thoroughly yet, but it has a lot of content, the music is good, the graphics nice and even if adok self-promotes his incomprehensible tutorial for kids in the editorial, and even if there's stuff by EP in the mag, at least the articles I glanced over were actually good. Even the interviews!
This is a honest thumb up. Please do make more magazines like this :)

Okay, I take some of that back. EP is still mental and you really should get rid of him or at least uphold some kind of journalistic integrity.
What Preacher said. Keep it up, Hugi crew.
If Preacher likes it...
Some nice content but EP's usual utterly retarded crap prevents me from giving it a thumb up.
100% right.
"How to make a demo"
Written by EP
What a joke... Better leave that kind of article to people who actually make demos or who made at least once in their life.

-once +one
not bad this time, but still having the typical hugi flaws.. so piggie
i give thump up when i feel like it. ep r0xx!!! :D
A web browser compatible version available?
enjoyable read so far, looks nice, loving the music aswell = thumb up for you guys :)
Excellent
Has a really interesting editorial piece about some guy who, it seems, did a programming tutorial while upside down on the surface of Mars being nibbled to death by marmots at the age of only 12 years old!
Seriously, though - it's worth the bloated (or the slightly less bloated, but still bloated) download just for the Shane article, which as well as being informative and fun, should hopefully relieve the dead horse of popular misconception from its years of being flogged.

awesome articles by wade and ep! especially ep, you have so much clue, you should keep writing articles coz you are only who can save the scene!
Yes. Nice to read!
Great issue!
Great issue!
also look at that super beautiful nfo ascii! beat that dipswitch or irokos :D
music, graphics, arts

very nice graphics and music! Plenty of interesting articles too. Nice :)
Wow! Not only there are more interesting articles in this issue but the graphics and music choice totally rocks! One of the better Hugi issues!!!
Totally awesome graphic and music, and nice interviews and other stuff. HUGI POWAH!!
FUCK IT !
For the interviews and the nice party reports!
much better than the last 3 issues.
For the Fearmoths article!
<3
Preacher is great in writing things down how they are. It was a bit of sluggish but i'm on a totally random laptop at a party. Keep it up, but the big storm is coming up... ;)
everything nice.
Great articles. Enjoyed reading.
looks good so far
I've just read the Fearmoths/Shane story and I can't describe my feelings. Wow!
After reading more articles and interviews, I managed to forget about EP's nonsense somehow. Nice improvement over the last issues and some interesting stuff.
Keep it that way :)
Keep it that way :)
I realy like this, best Hugi so far! keep em comming
Great diskmag
Despite EP's drivel I am enjoying it.
The fearmoths story is boring. But the Outreach Tour Report rocks ! :D
clearly the best issue you've released to date. How you come you've made some extra efforts? ;)
good stuff, gentlemen. Keep it going!
good stuff, gentlemen. Keep it going!
Great music & graphics! And of course, some good articles! (still reading)
magic: Seriously -- would it kill you to credit photos you use? (yeah, mine) The outreach article would have been a good read, hadn't it been raped by whoever translated it. :(
That being said; the title/end pictures are great, and so is the "Wives of the scene"-featurette.

interesting issue, especially liked the interviews and music..
read through a larger portion of it:
in combination with the fact that Pain was under its own par recently, i think finally we've got some hefty competition going on.

great issue! i <3 hugi =)
good read.!
thanX again :)
thanX again :)
Best Hugi ever! Lot's of great articles, good to remember Leisure Suit Larry.
Good idea to include scener's wives here, to see their side of the story behind a scener.. hey, what is a man without a woman behind? :)
Great gfx and tunes, keep it coming :)

tops!
Good work.. Really one of the best Hugi issues...
Great as always,
but:
Hugi #32 -> 16 Mbytes
Hugi #33 -> 32 Mbyes
Hugi # 34 -> 42 Mbytes...
Nex Hugi njumba will be > 50 Mbyes for sure?

Definitely much better then last issues!
love it :)
I fail understanding where all the interesting comes from... way better then some of the latter issues, but more than half of the content could have easily been canned.
Yeah! This total rulez issue!
well that was a surprise. an issue of hugi that actually had some good content and articles i was interested in reading, and interviews by magic that had some halfway sensible questions.
it's such a shame about the total horseshit filling the gaps, like ep's contributions. when you see such a lack of quality control in a mag it makes you think the editors just succeeded by dumb luck, not by actual skill.
miles better than the previous few issues, anyway.

yeah very nice issue music / gfx rulez, and articles are quite good.
Congratulations! Very successful issue! A lot of good things to reading... thanks! :)
good music and gfx. nice interviews! hugi with atmosphere! thankx!
very, very nice issue this time :)
Nice mag. Love the default soundtrack!

great.
Great mag :)
everything was already said. keep em coming! :-)
Wow! those intro/outro pictures kick ass. They're in the cgnetworks league. I really enjoyed reading about how the intropic was made. The attention to detail is a bit scary :)
The fearmoths article was great too. Especially the parts where Graham seems to become consumed by his own characters. Wouldn't that make a good internet-themed horror movie? Good old blending between reality and fiction without any clear sense of what is fiction and what is not.
Now, maybe this article was a made up story too? :)
Will read more later if attention span allows it.

I do not understand people complaining about the size of the mag...
music + graphics = Size!!!
if next Hugi #35 has better graphics and sounds...and is 60Mb....why not ?
Don't you have ADSL/cable ?
keep em coming! :-)

Great to see the Hugi staff bouncing back with some really interesting articles and interviews (Moby and Audiomonster in the same issue is impressive!). Very nice music and the graphics...
HOLY SHIT!
I felt sick with envy when I saw those pictures! Absolutely incredible work! Bridgeclaw and Tascha have really raised the bar for scene artists here.

Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes. Great graphics, Excellent music and some nice articles.
Hmmm... best issue so far but still, haven't been really interested about the articles.
lol
Stunning art and tremendous music. Not bad guyz!
Great interview with Biter!
better this time
i read wades fitness article and became 30% more sexy by the end
Great work!
The first scene mag in such a long time where the articles are so interesting I`m hurtling toward each sentence.
Fantastic job in every aspect. The graphics, music, content and the fact it works on my laptop no problem.
Two thumbs up and a major pat on the back for showing me the scene can still produce a diskmag that suits my tastes :)

lol. try harder lamers.
some nice stuff but the articles seem stuck in 98. i miss the connection with other scenes and a wider demographic spectrum of contributors.
Really great issue: fantastic graphics, excellent music - AND good articles! There is always room to improve, but this is really solid work and deserves to be praised!
hugi going back to old standards!
greet:)
scene rulez!
scene rulez!
I usually do not read english-languaged zins, but this one impressed me... Really!
A nice issue, I had a pleasant reading time! The interviews with Moby and Audiomonster were great and so was the Fearmoths article. Except for the articles by EP a good mag indeed.
Music (all tunes!) was great too and the graphics are great as well.

Finally found the time to start reading it a bit.
its oki doki
nice issue. i would thumbed this up but ep's rants prohibits me from doing so.
what hr0nic said
Thanks for the body-building advice, Wade! Now I too can entertain attractive women.
Very nice issue, great gfx and music!
Great issue. Music/Gfx rocks, and there are quite a few decent articles.
"i read wades fitness article and became 30% more sexy by the end"
Just wait until you read my penis enlargement article in the next issue!! :)

Great demomag.
artwork are beautiful.
and it has a good article.

that's an outright lame excuse, Magic.
This was actually a nice issue of Hugi.
And as a added bonus I will answer Fable Fox's question in his "Burnout" article :)
Fox: "Ever wonder why the guy who drew 'Scream' cut his ear of? (what was his name?)"
His name is Edvard Munch and he did not cut of his ear.
But Vincent Van Gogh on the other hand is said to have done the old mono trick after stalking Gauguin.

looks like candy, some stuff tastes like shit though
nice as usual
this one's for EP
And this one's for the whole "HUGI Core and Royal Family" (lol) being so godawfully socially challenged it's not even funny anymore.
tl;dr
.
Some nice articles, but also a lot of crap like EP's stuff and that article about linux. Still most was a good read and there's a lot of content plus an easy-to-use interface, so a thumbup for that. But please be a bit more strict in selecting articles next time so the bullshit gets left behind :)
Still the best looking mag in the scene and offers the most entertaining and varied read. The music and artwork are sweet and overall, very well presented.
Is EP a complete fruitloop or a misunderstood genius? It's a very fine line indeed.

+ the Royal Family still giving a tribune to EP."Ever wonder why the guy who drew 'Scream' cut his ear of? (what was his name?)"
for iq's article alone
hugi sucks :(
Just after the first visuals, hearing the first tune and reading the first article I immediately knew that this issue was worth the DL again
@supersagacity: ROLF! ;D

I miss hugi diskmag... ;o
One of the best ever done

YES for Hugi !!!
selfvoting. after all.
It is that article I selfvoted. I have learned.
Magic: it doesn't show desperation/madness at all when you immediately respond to comments on old Hugi issues. Not at all.
Oh, and Hugi sucks.

magic: it really doesn't.
Good as always.
