Some scenes are insanely slow on the gaymachine MBP 2.2, ATI x1600, OsX.

If it's slow, then it's buggy. It should be lightning fast on an MBP, considering that it is pretty fast on an MB w/ gma950. Which parts are slow on your machine? (it's not a first prod, btw)

It was fast on my MBP (C2D 2.2/GF8600), but it's missing vsync so there is terrible tearline-flickering...

vsync will be in the final, or whatever version comes next. (stupid GLUT does not support it, so i have to rape it in an os-dependent way; but already works on osx).

huh? there are basically no effects in the demo :) well, there is the sphere object blob thingy. Unfortunately the deadline arrived, and thus all the visuals were hacked together in 24 hours by yours truly... we are very sorry for the resulting not-high-enough quality. The management will do everything what has to be done to avoid such a failure from happening again, even if that means applying for ISO 9001 certification. Or Jumalauta 9001 certification, even.

The photo was taken in an abandoned railway building (in Újpest, Hungary). It was the workers locker room.

A demo from 2007 which runs so smoothly on my trashy laptop is worth the thumb by default. But I liked it anyway :)
i have mixed feelings here, awesome soundtrack, awesome sync and so so visuals. as jailbird suggests - up for crazy framerate in wxga.
Only Haskell makes it possible!
