After the initial epileptic fit, I tried hard to enjoy this demo, but... Sorry, folks. I respect that others may like this sort of thing, but noise is not my idea of entertainment. Or art, for that matter.

I agree with Shifter - Better than Chimera/Halycon. I don't like either, but at least this one was a small download and, I think, a reference to 'mother mother my eyes hurt' by Haujobb. Which, also, is utter crap (: And I think that's the point. if not, it's MY point (:

The original HJB prod was already quite disturbing, the remix had to be _more_ disturbing. Too bad we can't hurt other senses, like give bad taste in one's mouth or itchi feelings all over the body. We are working on it.

When I coded demos on the amiga, I occasionally got effects that looked kind of like this. Most often it was caused by the bitplane pointers accidently being overwritten by garbage. Back then ofcourse, we fixed the bugs instead of calling it art and releasing it...

i think most people missed the fact that this demo is only a remix of haujobbs "mother mother, my eyes hurt"... it even has some of the original artwork in it it seems. I must say, I like the original better, this has only the noise-dezzzign... whattevvvvver... cool to see something wierd for a change...

Extremely disjointed and noisy, both the audio and the visuals. Interesting to see traces of what at least seems like more "traditional" demo effects under all those layers of garbling and distortion.

Now I only wish that I'd seen the original, it wouldn't work when I last tried it and now I can't even find it anywhere..

MFX injures another demo, and to be honest, it takes talent to make something like this. Especially with being careful to add in original gfx and music bits. Can you imagine if this were shown in the ASM compo? The giant arena-sized audio system would've busted and people would've been taken to the hospital. :) Anyway, this one will be praised by the scene-dadaists, who as always enjoy something most when they don't understand it.

oh dont worry, you accomplished that allready with this one.

at first sight i wanted to press escape, but as it evolves you get kind of hypnotized and your eyes are fixed on the screen even though you can not focus on it or anything on it. the ugly noisy graphics has some kind of wierd system, and your brain starts to figure and wonder how it works in you "underconciousness". This demo does not intend to be nice and pretty, and it masters the task it tries to fullfill very well. Considering this, this demo rules. But i guess i'll puke if they make a sequel
