Well, sorry that I'm not familiar with Rave Network Overscan prods and so I add the group name from the nfo. I think you will not die just because I have done it now nor will you loose your 1st place in the charts because this one glöp ...

crest, i dont care about the glöps. i just care about the group who i am friend with.
i just can advice you to be kinda familiar with amiga scene next time, if someone is really interested in demoscene he can't just be focused on pc.

and to the demo itself - i like it BIG TIME!! great trippy stuff. and great dnb track in the 2nd part.

Well, then send me loads of money and I will buy every machine for which demos are actually made just to cover the whole scene. This is just bullshit. Nearly noone (except you of course mr. super scener) can cover all platforms on which demos are released nowadays. And unlike other hardcore PC sceners I have never said bad words about Amiga, C64 or other scenes. I also enjoy C64 or Amiga compos at parties and at least C64 and PSX entries are running here within an emulator. So better don't try to teach me about interest in demoscene. For me the discussion has ended because this page is about the compo entry and nothing else.

The intro was a bit funny, rest mediocre. Flash is not for the demo scene ..

Entertaining, and it hides quite a lot of work. Anything is for the demoscene if you have fun with it, imho.

If wilds and anims are for the scene then why not Flash?

Quite funny, and I can't believe they got away with all the copyrighted Giana Sisters material. Still, there were other entries in the compo which I liked a lot more..

The graphism are not my cup of tea, and the effects are cheap

jobe: I don't consider Flash as a "demo" platform, 'coz Flash seems to me like a born-dead technology. It looks good on the paper, but it's so limited and slow >__<

Alambik IS ( by far ) best suited to make web demos

Hi, just wanted to say that me and deeq were very surprised for winning the flash-compo. It was made in a big hurry and we werent even sure if we could make it in time.

For the second parts effects being cheap. Quilty as charged! :)

I mean, we only had two days to make the demo and in that time you cant make world changing effects. I for one, have been a lazy SOB this year and havent done anything on flash since "Alice in wonderland"-demo. So all the effects had to be done from scratch bcos we didnt have anything ready.

And I agree that there were much more techically better prods in the Flash-compo. For example Esko Ahonen's prod was very nice. Respects to others too...

Nice music in the gamepart, and that vocoder speech is cool :) The gamepart is very well done. The 2nd part is ok, like that part with the picture circling in the background.

And about the Flash discussion i must say that every platform has its own charm and so has flash aswell, and yeah its damn slow (but aint that a challenge?) :)

This was the only flash demo that I managed to see at Assembly. And hell yes I liked it!

Just saw it for the first time, and gotta say it rocks! A bit short but otherwise good.

Well, both the first and second parts are ok, but they're just so completely different that the prod seems really unfinished, like there had been one nearly-finished one and then they'd just slapped the Giana sequence in front of it to cover for the parts that weren't ready.

Could've been a good flash demo; in fact, it could have been two good flash demos.
