This is an MS-DOS demo, not Win32.

I quite like this one for reasons. I can understand the boring (very slow progression) but the feeling I like, beatiful landscape (that only scrolls in the same direction for all the demo though), stars (I always like stars in demos even as a motionless background) and various effect that show up as textures and break and particle explosions. Really like it. Makes me want to code a demo again.

I wrote this demo while I was at school in 1999-2000. I stumbled across this record of it after a Google search to see if it still existed somewhere on the internet. It was the first (and in the end, only) demo I wrote. Thank-you for the positive comments. I think it suffered from the fact that it was a CPU only demo at the time when 3d accelerated stuff was really everywhere, but I was still very pleased with this when I finally finished it! While writing it I remember feeling pretty happy with the fact that my hand-optimized 3d engine could do something like 50k texture mapped triangles per second!
