Ok here's the proper (and well reasoned) comment on this so called production. The 'people' who made it are insecure nutless wonders who think the year is still 1989. Now I wouldn't have minded so much actually as I know these kinds of 'people' need to make productions like this as a kind of therapy for the insecurities they have about the Amiga platform (though since they have better hardware I don't know where the insecurities come from!). Anyway, what got me was that it beat the RARE intro in the compo. I guess there must have been enough Amiga drones there to swing the voting. Since those who voted for this 'production' obviously need help I'll give them some pointers:

(no-one uses Degas anyway) nor midi ports. Not now, not ever.

Fair enough Flashlight, personally I think Cool Ska Cool should have won though with it being a C64 party it's not that bad/unexpected that the DTV one did. They were both good.
spotUP - an internal joke sure got a lot of votes. I never said it was aimed at me, infact I even thought it was pretty funny at first but the 'feel' of it was quite nasty. If it was internal it would have been better not to enter it in the compo IMO. The title itself suggests 'hinting' that Atari people should not attend BFP. I won't be attending again, don't know about Alchemist, so it worked.
yes its an internal joke that started like a year ago on the dubmood & goto80 toiletgig where we got the good old amiga vs ataridiscussion goin as a joke and we continued with it since then. it was all aimed at me. and if you would have understood swedish you would probably have picked up a few (or like 200) atari-sux no amiga-sux pointers during the party. you could have asked. its not a hint of any kind to any platform to not attend the party, in fact, I know spot loves atari so much and this was just a sort of atari plz come next year and kick our ass again like all other years its so boring @ a bfp without atarians. I mean, an atari chiptune kicking the ass out of all the 5mb sample protracker tunes just proves it doesnt it? amiga sux! <3

I found it a little offensive after no sleep at BFP, but on re-watching, it's actually quite a neat little demo. Not technically excellent, but nice design, nice music, and funny stuff.
Oh... and I think the entire Atari community would agree on "Degas Elite, Ha ha ha" - man, that was sucky software :)

Deserves another thumb down for being so boring & everybody knows that the Amiga won the whole "Atari vs Amiga" thing anyway.

Amiga won some "Atari vs Amiga" thing?! Sorry, I've owned MANY of both machines and they aren't even comparable. My Amigas have WAY for games and my Atari was better for Music (Cubase Audio in the early 90's couldn't be beat). My Amiga 4000 had a video toaster, my Ataris Falcon CAME with True Color (65536 colours w/24-bit stills) & the best audio for the price at the time.
If Amiga OR Atari won out, why am I stuck using these PC's?! This demo, like others, give us nostalgia, memories back to the days when we had great computer communities.
