The concept remains a bit of a mystery to me. The initial particle effect was great, but yes, I agree with ryg that it's not going anywhere really. Also I think we've heard much better disco tunes in demos before.

i'll give it a rulez, it was pretty in an eye candy kindof way, it did lack punch but it got the info accross nicely, although i thought the music sucked.

I'm getting somewhat puzzled by the enormeous backlash people throw at a goddamn invite. I know there's a couple of really beautiful invites out there, but it's not mandatory to release yardsticks of awesome for what is essentially a glorified flyer all the time

Nice mood for an invitro, beside this the last picture scrolling is just fucking slow...
The fluids and logo at the start was great. After that, good but not stunning, fine for an invite. And I don't get why the scrolling picture at the end is so slow too.

Some nice state of the art effects (the particle system around the A was really cool) and a good tune – but even if it was intended to be oldschool or something like that, the overall design, typo, colorscheme and “direction” don’t reach the current level at all. Nevertheless it is worth a Thumb Up indeed!

The particle effect and music is okay, but did'nt really make me that exited, however the colours, oh my god the lovely colours! - Once again the finns shows us that you indeed can use the dutch colorscheme and achieve magnificent results. (Also seen in sts-01)

Just because you asked:
it was meant to be an _invitation_ with uplifting teenage feeling ("sweet sixteen" but not in Billy's stylee).
UncleX first asked for italo 80s music, but cheap drum machines, crappy synths, tacky melodies and bad mixing (italo ingredients for the masses) were not really a good deal, so the tune turned into an hybrid synthpop/demostyle thing which sortof fit the feeling anyway.
No 70s disco or funk was ever considered, we leave that stuff to pros with a touch for maj7 chords.

When seeing the fluid particles of the first few seconds I was all \o/ and expecting an exceptional ASM invite for a change. Unfortunately it went downhill from that towards uninspired, cheesy pop templates with lots of blablabla that you've read zillions of times before ... actually, the typeface would be worth thumb down alone. But, oh well, the first few seconds of awe saves it ...
Ok, but that's it.
the soundtrack is ace, and the effects are ace, too bad you can hardly see them in the background. the colors and fonts could have been more pleasing to the eye i guess..

I truely hate/dislike the music here and I don't like the colors either. Yet, it's nice to watch, I dig the "dot" balls :) and always loved that kind of textwriters. What I don't understand is why the scrolling of the endpicture is that jerky...
