i think the result is damn nice.. it's fastmade but very effective. an example that two decent parts combined in the right way can form something much better.

ryg is absolutely right! Solenoid came to Outline on friday to drop off the soundsys but decided to stay till four in the morning and create this. Awesomeness!

my only qualm is the utter lack of alpha channels for the smoke things. Other than that, this is really neat partyhacking.

real great for a partyhack. i'm totally amazed by the direction skills in here. so many of the things going on are 'your average stuff that seems so simple in your head but are a crap job to actually work out in any tool' and solenoid did it all in 8 hours. big fucking ups. please keep doing this!!

music is good... and the rest - it´s just an animation

Music sounds nice and I am really impressed by Solenoid's skills (looking at the time he has needed for this to make it), but somehow this animation reminds me of some random 90's render videos with random elements. The scene in the screenshot looked very cool, the rest isn't that interesting to me. Enter it to the realtime category at fmx 2008. ;)

I'm just curious what tools did you use? Because it's almost impossible to create this piece in 8 hours with software like maya, shake and premiere (the programs I use) considering rendertimes etc.
