the scroller effect looks very cool. rest is a bit rushed(gfx and overall design). also the scroller probaby weould look better with lighting enabled. but in a nutshell thumb up for the scroller!

the gfx really sucks except the B and R of the logo. even if looks colored in a rush (15 minutes of work are enough to do that). For the font colors i think there is a predefined style doing that in photoshop.

ogge, have you tried to install the last DirectX version? and your last video card drivers as well? Runs well here on a Radeon 9600XT/P4 2.8/1024DDR2.. what's your config?

Yeah ogge_ ATI update it runs ok here with x800 amd64 2200 1024 mbram....
ogge: do you have Vsync disabled? Oldskool/2D stuff usually looks bad when you disable the Vsync in your driver's settings.

Nice code, B&P is nice, could be really cool if all characters are well painted ... The effect does not rum smooth on my 2 GhZ Machine, The texttype idea is really nice at all, but using an old font does not mean its oldschool, for sure not ... As much i respect the work irokos made while coding, the overall design is just a piggy, excuse me ...
