First big hit from DSD on Assembly 96:)) Watch their software emboss, really exciting. Music is very cool :)
a demo consisting of two parts, except for the nice eerie credits-part
in the beginning: a 2d-part with horrid pop/dance-music with cheesy
lyrics and a 2d/3d-part with quite nice music actually. the 2d effects
are really great, nice colors and psychedelic patterns, while the 3d
effects are mostly goodlooking environment-mapped and bumpmapped
objects. the demo also has some nice graphics, mostly of women. some
are scanned/pictures, some are handpainted. if it were not for the
music in the biginning, i would have actually given it a 'rulez'.

I love it, even though there's a lot of ripped pr0n-like pics of girls. In fact, most of the gfx looks ripped or scan, which kind of suxx. But the music and the rest of the demo brings it up to a great level. =)

i liked it, had more fun with the musick too. back then tracked musick with vocals was rare, so it was really special. heh

Doomsday is n°1. The demo is the best I have ever see, far far far... Maybe it's because of the chicks :)

Really good demo and not only the first part with the 'chicks' looks nice. Music of the second part is excellent!

Runs with DOSBox.! :) Finally I got to watch it again. One of the demos that have inspired me the most.. still love the Finland bumpmapper, and somehow even the cheesy music in the first part makes me go "oooh"
rulez added on the 2004-04-30 12:31:44 by Preacher Preacher
one of the demos that "forced" me to learn how to code demo-fx.. ;)
and the music still feels SO great..

An important release, no Vivid Experiment - no Vivid Experiment II - it is that important! =) Oh, and a great tribute to 1996 with those Vivid-ladies.

Now I only wonder why thing, why isn't this demo ported to win32? I would love to see it a long there with Boost - Vivid Experiment II

for music! although the main sample of girl voice was ripped from Hollywood's "Split milk". Nevertheless one of my favourite demo-tunes.

In retrospect, a demo with a pretty horrid first part (more cheese than you can shake a stick at) & some pretty decent stuff in the second. Piggy.

Yeah, it's cheesy. But it's also an unforgettable classic. Love those saturated colors...

My favourite demo for years. Second part, where the hearts comes in.. to the end.. amazing. And again, the music.. mmmmmmmmmm.. yummie!

Nice effects, cheesy but okay music, good graphics. I think the girls are unnescessary and kinda stupid.

Sucks hard in the first part with awful scans of awful women, then rules in the second part.
