Massive vectordemo, coupled with some very graphics. Great.

Imagine seeing this on your first demo party and thinking 'Oh my god, this is cool!'

It was a bitch to make it run, and I recall come controversy about the size and the use of anims, but it was just to cool for words.

as shifter says; many people argued that "this isn't a real demo" because of the use of animations (and the size thereafter), and it *was* a living hell to come up with a config that would run it perfectly, but when it *did* run... ooh.. shivers. :)

A great demo for its time and even today still very entertaining!

Great demo, the vector parts are crazy!

this picture showed on the screenshot is a lame scan!
i have the proof, false steps was done, ask me if you want it !
is there such a thing as a cool scan?

there's too many rips/scans/bla out there to be really upset by that ;)

i loved this demo back in the olds times.. haven't seen it for a while though. for some reason it doesn't like to work on my oldschcool machine.

Hi. I did the "lame scan" on the screenshot. I did one third of it at The party, behind hundreds of peoples, and with a mouse and DP4. So, fuck you.

Maybe it is time to read this again too.... This comment is of course only made up to bring sparks to a new flamewar here on pouet :) I believe this text is very valid.

I know the brilliant soundtrack from Clawz for a long time, but saw the demo for the first time today. What can I say? Awesome piece of work, with great vector gfx and a highspeed remake of the 3D scene from the Amiga demo Real. Love!

good for it's time, but not that entertaining or interesting

this was pretty much impossible to run back then, so thumbs for the video :)
overall, i think i prefer no!

Didn't see it back then. From a fresh perspective, it looks horribly game-ish, with some half-hearted FC influences to fill up the cracks.

Can't stop loving Clawz music on this demo.. :)

Very early 90s'ish type graphics. Song is good. I had problems getting the setup to run on my P2 400mhz. Just run moslo setup.exe in pure DOS with no EMM386 and it will set the demo up. Then you can just run angel.exe with no problems. I have a Voodoo 5 5500 and it said there was 0kb of RAM, but the demo ran just fine.

Finally able to rewatch it again in its full glory 15 years after my DOS machine was obsoleted thanks to the Youtube capture!

Being an Amiga fan TP94 was my first big party and of course I also followed the PC compos. This demo was very impressive back then, and it clearly showed the transcendence from Amiga to PC through its overall stlye, the soundtrack by Clawz and certain scenes (compare e.g. this scene from Origin by Complex or this scene from Real by Complex).

rocks
Perceive this as a rather ambitious demo, where the creators have tried to put together a lot of effects, graphics and music, who "kind of" works together and not at all at the same time.

How did I manage to miss this demo for so long? Kinda agreeing with Frequent, but the parts are rock solid and the soundtrack is amazing.

Hmm. It turns out, that you cannot *simply* run this demo under DosBox (latest one from DosBox.com, no SVN). I have tried to edit many stuff in DosBox config, tried to use clean config. NOTHING! I also have read that Troubleshooting section of ANGEL.NFO, but DosBox does not understand CONFIG.SYS (I think)...
After fiddling around with DosBox-X config (I didn't knew that cpu.realbig16 option existed back I wrote above comment), this demo runs good. And it is indeed nice!

This config, in case you are wondering :)

wasn't fan of this back in days, especially VS nooon ultra technical demos

but...

there was a story, a proper soundtrack and that was an overall package :)

Nice voxels. Some 3D scenes remind me of Real. Great soundtrack.
