please, tell me, how can i run this demo in winuae? i constantly get a 'script error' message, after selecting resolution. some other demos didn't work either.
btw, i love mankind demos, since the old old days, when we could watch it only on videotapes, here in small provincial town in russia.

Pretty nice except for the music :)

Yeah !! I am really surprised, If not shocked, because I didn't participate much in the production of this one ( except for the engine, done 2 years before.) Bla and gwen did everything, and a lots of things that were coded but not tested are now validated ! So discovering the final result with all those things is an enjoyment !

oooO! last word for the winUAE problem up there : the engine need an amigaOS installed (WB3.0, 31,...) , because It uses the "datatypes". It's an amiga library that load images. So get the hand on amiga forever (UAE+system)... Yes it's a classic karate engine problem: I should have code a system free image loader. sorry.

Krabob: It's never too late to fix that. :) Coding an image loader that doesn't need any datatypes should not need that much time. :)

Incredible feeling! What a nice demo. Funny colors, smoothly rendered and constantly rythmed. Don't no the winner at this time but great 2nd entry.

Ah, I really hate doing this, since there are almost no crews left on the Amiga scene and I feel like I am pushing somebody over the edge now.

But criticism is due when criticism is due, so here it comes:

The colorscheme is waaaaaay off, the music is not my taste at all, the design is very messy?

On the othert hand, the style is fresh, the objects funny (the robot from Futurama especially) and the transitions are mostly nice.

Nice try, but piggy. :/
When I first saw this I thought that that French gang of revolutionairies had caught up with the normalmaps and that the screenshot was realtime :) Sadly it was not though.. I thought some of the objects were nice, like the one in the screenshot and bender. There were a bit too much z-sorting artifacts in places. You have to make objects that fit to the engine limitations you know.. Cartoon rendering is perhaps better if you use z-buffer, but that would probably be too slow. Maybe if only the cartoon edge connected faces were drawn to the a z-buffer and not the other ones? When I watched the text-screens flashed in offbeat which i thought was a bit .. off.. I really hate amiga rules references too. Usually it is just some cheap way to gain a few zealot votes :) It is a nice try, but you can do better I'm sure. Piggy for now.
