Great and contains one of my favourite credit soundtrack ever ("Boesendorfer PSS" by Romeo Knight). Lllllove it.

One for the ages!

Peachy's Sheryl Lee picture is still among my all time favourite works of computer art.

Nostalgia for real. The soundtrack is one of the most famous, and for good reason (especially the credit theme). Peachy's art, though, is some of the best I've ever seen... the very cool TRSI logo and as Wade mentions, the Sheryl Lee pic, which made many an Amiga owner's jaw drop. Everything that guys like him, Facet, etc. did just ruled, and holds up to this very day.

Now, thats what I call a true classic. And its purely excellent in all departments: Code, design, music, gfx, style... you've got it all here!

This is a must-see for everyone, not only old-school fanatics. Where's the Coup de couer update?

I saw it for the 1st time about 10 years ago. What incredible demo it was and... it is! And did you know that it was Wayne Mendoza's FIRST demo ever? Romeo Knight at the keyboards and a top gfx dude - Peachy with brushes! Beautiful demo. Splendid and cool. That was a TRSI supreme! My hat off my head before thee, meisters.
The only thing I disliked was the red Manowar text and how does it end.

Perhaps not the most advanced code for its time, but gotta love those great graphics (despite the shameless repainting :)) and _awesome_ music (BOTH modules, not just the piano one).. Still a pleasure to watch.

break: i agree. i think "i'm gonna be infectious" is even better than pss. and the whole production is really wonderful! :)

Hate to say it, but it's boring (despite all the good gfx and msx)!

Once there was written in some diskmag that this one looks like a 4mb dpaint animation. :)
Anyway, I loved it even tho the code is not very advanced.

Is the homepage of Wayne Mendoza the coder of this demo.

Great to have Romeo Knight back on the PC..

His Piano end track of wicked sensation was always great!

One of my all time favourites - much because of two lovely tunes by Romeo Knight and brilliant graphics by Peachy and Tee Jay.

I'm surprised I didn't thumb this yet. Deserves a thumb for Boesendorfer alone. Great graphics by Peachy too, and nice stuff by Wayne Mendoza too. :) One of the last highlights of TRSI if I remember correctly?

Classic TMB comment once again. i'm not talking about the new productions like the Sundown invite, TMB. I meant at the end of the Amiga era. Or in other words so everyone understands it: One of the last highlights I remember from TRSI on the Amiga.

Not exactly true. ;) This demo probably contains his most known picture (Sheryl Lee) but he made graphics long before that already so these are definitely not his first works.

Otherwise decent content marred by a painfully sluggish pace. Music also suffers a bit from quite low quality samples.

Great gfx, but that's about it. Boring and poorly designed.
sucks added on the 2017-08-02 12:56:43 by Kree Kree
First of all: elite music! Then also great code and graphics. The lack of timing and over-use of loader screens could not harm it.
rulez added on the 2017-12-23 18:56:49 by noname noname
Nice Demo with quite unusual ending. 2 Disks that run fine on standard ECS hardware. The commodore logo failed but sheryl lee saved the day!! Ende der Kommunikation. ;)

Missing thumb. This is the worthy winner of the show back then. Great design and gfx for its time. And that soundtrack is worth a thumb by itself. Yeah, sanity invented the rotzoom in their woc demo. But this one simply stood out.

I like the piano music.
rulez added on the 2021-03-14 03:39:10 by bodo^rab bodo^rab
Not a worthy winner. The worthy winner had some minor problems too, but was technically brilliant, and a much more mature production for its time. If you want to see a really good 3d scene with shadows - in realtime! - see Sound Vision from Reflect, which came out half a year earlier.
