The effects first strike me as a bit too "Hello, World" .. But after all it is a sort of hello world. The DS is craving for more action, I hope it's just a start.

some great tags here, and the effects aren't bad either.
unfortunately the music sounds like some early 90s pc demo soundtrack and doesn't really fit this demo and the demo is way too short.
definately the best ds prod so far however, and thanks for the normal ds version (i'd still like to find out why it only worked on ds lite earlier on)

Nice to see someone finally making an actual demo on the DS! The 2d effects are _really_ outdated though... ;) Is there anything besides the first part (brightness switching) that requires a DS Lite btw?

finally a ds demo which makes innovative use of both screens. no spectacular effects, the things like the voxel landscape look very early 90s, but the effort counts. the tags by genchy rock, so does the tune. deserved to be in top 3 instead of the mishap karaoke thing. also the effort of liranuna to come all the way from israel to present this one at evoke is worth a "wow". hope to see you here next year as well.

it's more of a tech-demo than a real production... but still thumbs up for trying out a new promising platform
the last effect (upscroller) seems not to work on devices with flashme!? (anyone else a problem on that?)

Overally a very nice DS demo, maybe the best I've seen so far (haven't checked others), the voxel is quite impressive and nice use of the two screens.

doesnt work on my ds lite (g6+passcard3)
auld, at least phantasy's mental respirator (gbc) had same kind of twist scroller.
thumbs up for the effort, but i think we've seen already enough of mid-90's effects on various platforms... piggie.

Goddamn the music was awful, and the effects weren't really that hot either. But still, it had it's moments, so no thumb down.

If anybody’s wondering, the difference between the Phat version and the Lite version is that the Lite version calls routines to change the screen’s backlight level which makes the Phat crash (bc it only has a setting for frontlight on or off and doesn’t seem to use the same routines)
The Lite version works on DSi and 3DS but it doesn’t change the backlight level, it only turns screens on and off. But still sorta works!
So it goes without saying this demo is still best experienced on a real DS Lite.
