Uh yes, definitely liked this one. Creates a pretty dark ambience imho, and the music fits perfectly to that. Prepare to encounter a zombie, make a journey to mysterious stonehenge and see a hung dude (with pants down, hehe). Only negative aspect (for me): ran pretty slow in some parts where I think it shouldn't (i.e. no obvious reason for the demo to slow down). So, perhaps optimize your engine a bit dudes, but definitely do more of this scary stuff! >:)

I guess some might complain that this is 'yet another 3D fly-by.' Personally I'm beginning to think of fly-by demos as a sort of sub-genre or something. You've got your abstract demos, your real-time raytracing demos, your weird avant-garde industrial distortion/noise demos, and your 3D fly-by demos. (Maybe story demos and joke demos too?? Ah, whatever...)

Anyway, this productions looks pretty decent with some nice scenes and an attempt at a 'spooky' atmosphere. However, I felt the textures were slighty on the 'colourful' side, and that gave everything a partially cartoony feeling. (But only slightly.) Maybe this was intentional...?

Thumbs up, but only just I'm afraid.

addict take on 'shlock-horror'-genre with pretty mediocre results. music, despite having lots of 'spooky' and 'creepy' samples, is almost danceable - which is not a good thing when you try to create a dark gothic atmosphere. some textures and anims are pretty cheesy. the engine seems to be pretty capable tho.
I had a sudden urge to say 'jinkees' a few times while watching this one. 8)

Please learn using textures properly. The walls look ugly.

Wouldn't run, but what's weird is that it didn't restore my resolution afterwards. First time this happens in XP.

ugly ! Addict can do better !

I like my flybys but this one's just ugly and boring & not the least bit creepy. Poor/blurry textures and reminds me of some of the other addict stuff which I also don't like the least bit. Funny how they have a couple of really good (abstract) ones to balance it off.
