Yeah it should come with a manual :)
Basically you have seeds with which you can plant trees and make them grow. New seeds are provided by trees when in the sunny part of earth.
Seeds enable you also to impair the growth of adversaries' plants. (all of this is done simply by clicking one or the other plant)
The key here is to use the sunny part / darkness assymetry to your advantage.

well it's interesting concept and original but very boring also
hmmm. interesting concept but a bit too abstract for my taste.
I think this suffered horribly in the compo. The idea is abstract, and the way it plays wasn't obvious from the video. I'm pretty sure the whole idea itself would lead to a really interesting game, plus there's the multiplayer aspect and appear to be bots implemented. But on the whole, I kept hoping the video would END. When the osX version arrives I can check it and see how it is (:

I didn't got it. I tried it, clicked once the mouse and got one seed, then I click the same button and ended my game!!! Damn.. I don't get it.
