if you don't have a graphics card supporting ps2.0+vs2.0, it will not run and won't give any proper error message. sorry about that. perhaps we'll make a video version later

One of the better efforts this easter. But agree with P01 about the 2 styles.
The two styles doesn't quite match, and sometimes it looks kinda unfinished (the flower/plant-thingy could look way better), but it gave me the goosebumps on the bigscreen, and still does when the chip-lead hits the floor, good job :)

Is good, but not great... The intro scene is ok, and I really, really like the city scene. The flower is also good (although it could have been smoother). Then the track (good as always btw) takes off - but the visuals don't quite manage to follow, which is unfortunate :-/

I think this really should've been made into two demos.. a disappointment, unfortunately :( But the flower was the coolest effect I've seen for a long while.

needed a driver update to see anything, and didnt reset my desktop size at the end.
quite an odd and messy product. some nice ideas but nothing is that well implemented - e.g. the growing plant just draws itself onto the screen, there's no scaling or growing involved; the clouds (and snowflakes) were so obviously just some sprites - needed some shader work or dof or fog or something to look good; the 3d looked seriously like coder art (but hey, at least you burnt AO into it :)); you used lensflare at all; the cutout figures didnt really look good; the black growing lines thing has been done so many times now..

very, very good, there are some cheap effect like growing flower and ugly lensflare, but overally a very solid demo. Music is outstanding and deservers another thumb up !
I second there smash, odd and messy. It smells like an outracks demo and it wants to be an outracks demo with all the erratic cameramoves and uptempo beats, it just doesn't work out with the theme...

Too "been there, done that" for Outtracks. Erratic pacing for the sake of the soundtrack doesn't work anymore. Please kick our asses again this summer :)
Now, i really liked this. There were some good transitions and a somewhat good flow, didnt like the 'water', and the grow-effect wasnt as goodlooking as i expected. But i really liked the outracks planet! good idea :)

lots of great ideas here. maybe the plant should have been styled more like the "techno radiosity world".. is it techology vs nature theme? ruleage torus bump metaballs btw :) I wonder what the exact problem with the water is.. The horizon seems too near. Lots of unrealized potential here really, but I guess deadline caught you. Still it is a good demo so thumb up.

And oww man, another kicker from Irvin. Outracks demos are the reason my brain came up with the 80/20 rule, 80% of a demo are made though the tune - rest is graphics and the least visible one is code. This one even got away with using serif fonts, and holy shit I'd give it a CDC on the spot <3

Forgotten vote for the great tune i always loved even if cheesy (but who isnt)
finally was able to watch it in realtime! soundtrack is a total killer - visuals do look a bit dated by now, but for sure were pretty great back then as well - serif fonts were pretty ugly indeed
