Still nice but surely not my fave tbl demo.
Cannot wait for a video version...TBL rocks anyway.
Loved it at the partyplace [via demoscene.tv ;D ]
The scenes seemed a bit isolated

TBL !!!
worst tbl ever.
looks like 'fast work' with some no so fast work :) some scenes is VERY GOOD (like fog in end of demo, spirit of girl, first scene), and some scenes sucked very much (black/white rotate triangle, and just blue color sea in scene with mountains). Last scene looks like a bit 'hardest part for end this fucking demo'. Becouse to much time music playing without any effects..
in other words, it was can be VERY good prods, but in all ot this fact, not so.
But as always, good prod from tbl :)

Rank 3 was absolutly correct for this demo. I hope they will carry on even if:
- they didn't win like each year
- the title is requiem
- some TBL members have obviously changed the platform to Sony psp.

really cool, but some effect were worst done. i wish i will watch another silkcut-quality demo :°°°°
not their best. still ruled.
Really, really good. Some absolutely awesome code in there. Should have beaten the EPH demo, IMHO.
good stuff, some scenes are dreamlike while others seem just like a remake of old ones. anyway, reallly like the tbl style. the music is great, too.
What a disappointment :( Though the black things in the end were great.
"Graphicians are ovewrrated anyway. ;)"
no, they're not! :)
no, they're not! :)
video, please!
Not the best TBL-Prod by far, but I still like it!
Very good soundtrack - the rest is not up to the standard you have made us expect.
I'm thumbing up for the real scene spirit. The demo was released for other groups in Amiga compo. There is no pleasure in winning in an empty category. And now we should wait for the next step.

WTF?! There were 7 other amiga demos! Thats not an empty compo!

that'll be the moving to PS2 ?! ;)
Awesome music, but this and the ps2 demo kinda made it feel like TBL jumped the shark here :/
Very good (though short). This and the Ephidrena demo had similar ideas behind them that fits the time we're living.
Graphicians are overrated anyway.
One of the mediocre TBL demos, well yes there is again the same 3d engine which rocks, but it seemed quite rushed. Still, the music rocks!
MEDIOCRE?!
This is MAGIC.
This is MAGIC.
Agree with hellfire... This seems to be a step back.
As allways a nice Demo from TBL. I have a feeling it will be the last for amiga :/ but I hope that will not be the case.
something is missing. maybe its the motivation.
I missed louies gfx but rubber do it as he can.
Final with one more scene and a little fixed gfx will be nice.

The seal is broken. TBL lost it. Now mawi can come back again, they might be able to win NOW. ;)
Compared to their previous productions, not very good.
Rushed and without the gfx we all love in TBL productions. Nevertheless, it made it to the top 3, showing the guys still have class and guts.
Perfect proof that TBL demos live on Louie's graphics.
could definitely do with better graphics. too bad louie left kalms & rubba on their own this time. cheers for trying anyway, even though I caught myself thinking some of the gfx was done like this just for spite.
i liked it, yet compared to what is being done with louie, it's one of your weaker efforts. =)
not bestest TBL prod
I was kind of disappointed at the party
but anyways it kicks !

ok, after rewatch some days later on a correct PAL screen it looks pretty good.
It's the 1st TBL Amiga prod with another designer after >5 years of Louie-Mania.
So there are quite some things to improve on.
Not the code coz that is brilliant as usual.
The overall timing, dramaturgy and textures couldn't catch up to f.e. Magia, although the few graphic stills where beautiful.
But what the heck...this must be a tough job to reach those standards with the first production to design after the audience was so pleased with Louie's style and expected such this year. So don't take the critics as a reason for quitting the Amiga platform ;)

I loved it.. very enjoyable.. and powerfull music from olof =)
what evil said, only without the thumb.. it really needed better textures and mapping
Me likes! (except that B&W star-thingy in the beginning).
Nice code and music as usual but lacking in design. Thumb anyway.
If it wasn't for the TBL-logo at the beginning i wouldn't believe that this is actually a TBL demo. Quite a disappointment...
The music was great though.
The music was great though.
This demo does not deserve the hard critics above.
Sure a couple of scenes lack a bit of proper lighting, but there are other parts that are really cool, such as the siloutte forest part, the detailed tree and the greetings. And as said the music is fantastic.

Good but not the winner
When I watched it again I could see all the nice codework that has been put into this demo. But you managed to conceal that quite well on a first impression.
Looks really nice most of the time, but like Gargaj said, it feels like something is missing. A disappointment for sure.

very good music. rest is okej
videolink added....
after watching it again... its far better that I have it in mind :/

Best demo from the compo IMO.
music
Very good but it's not a killer like TBL's previous BP prods.
A little disappointing after 'Ocean Machine'
Seems like TBL lost a designer/art director?
After seeing the video: Congrats for the great 3d engine. Seems to be light years ahead of the other demos in the compo.
Anybody can draw polys either fast or accurate. The real art is to do both at the same time. 99% of the amiga demos fail in that.

dark forest part is great.
Not their best, but still a great demo. Thanks for that! :]
I take it back. It shouldn't have beaten the EPH demo. But it still deserves the thumb i gave.
.
great gfx.
and great fx. (smoke effect was cool.)
music was good.
but tbl is not best demo.
but I still go up my thumb.

sorry, mistake.;)

tech stuff:
some of the screens are really good. the star with shadows is great. also, i thought i saw some lightsourced texturing.. and the rendering is really accurate like other screens are rather dull like the ghost girl.. some alpha sprites used in a static way imho.
this demo would be great with better designed scenes, more textures and better movement.
i'll give this the benefit of the doubt and thumb up.

nice, but tbl did better in the past
typical low quality Amiga flyby.
Nice music and the foggy forest could've looked quite nice if the machine could handle it, but otherwise not worth watching.

Hehe always nice to see Shane thumb down something that requires about 2,000,000 times the amount of talent he has to create.
All the "if it was on PC it would automatically be better!" whinging is also hilarious.

It's not Silkcut
It's not Ocean Machine
It's not Respirator Stories
It's not Lux Erat, Dixit Deus ;)
But still...
It's Requiem.
Music lifts this demo to very high spheres, but what else to expect from Blaizer? However, the rest of the demo, in my opinion, lacks the "oompf" that would put it at the peak. Very cool beginning, though, and I liked the theme of inescapable decay.
Requiem definitely deserved second place in the BP06 competition.

Typical ugly amiga 3d flyby.....
Darkside
Panacea
Requiem
more... :)

Maybe I should thumb it down to urge the guys to do better, but, umm, I CAN'T, damn it :)
plain shit
Mediocre TBL demo, still a small thumb up.
Maybe not the best TBL demo design-wise, but technically brilliant and very nice to watch. I just love this forest scene.
war live dabei!!
secks
Thumb up for
* The awesome music
* The excellent graphics (especially the stained glass windows and the wall in the opening part)
* The foggy hillside
* The burning mansion (at least, that was my interpretation)
* The super-detailed tree
Thumbs down for
* The grayscale star in the bowl
* Something about the ghostly girl drifting around looked awful inanimate
* The scene right before the ghostly girl where (at least in the vidcap) the framerate was almost too low for that kind of movement
I'm seriously not seeing where everyone says this is mediocre. I like this better than Ocean Machine. That said, I still think Lux Aeterna Luceat Eis should have won the compo.

nice flame.
Not my cup of tea.
Not as good as other TBL Demos, but not bad. Tune and Glass Windows Scene Rocks :)
WTF! that's a very very cool demo! excellent 3d (for the AGA, that is :-D) and cool music! this is impossible!
not my cup of tea. looks old.
very unbalanced prod. some scenes are simply stunning while others drift too far from the general style of the demo or are plain ugly. sure the music sounds nice but is way too epic for the story arc. i've seen better tbl for sure
I like it. Not your beast creation, but still nice.
best
Not the best from TBL, but still an excellent Amiga-demo.
nice
...and it is still a thumb worth! and it still has it moments.
Kalms: I wish you a productive 2010 for you! a new tbl demo perhaps? :)
p.s. this was a nice demo to see on the big screen!

Very nice. Especially the music.
Nice one, very good for partycoding.
A bit messy, but works out
Pretty damn awful.
