Great demo for an unusual platform. Nice gray-routines, and some very cool effects.

Thanks for comments -
Here's a 2MB GIF - http://benryves.com/images/microhertz.gif
The emulator I used is a lot blurrier than hardware!

This inspired me.. now if I only could get a point & click compile & run IDE, I might do something myself. I tried Latenite and I got it to build the project, but there's no run option :( and the hassle with uploading into the emulator is a bit too much.

The current build of Latenite has a run option (the debugger doesn't do anything yet though), but seeing as TI don't let us distribute ROM images we have to make the end-user dump a ROM themselves, clean it up and put it in the right folder with the right name... which is a bit rubbish, agreed. :-(

Judging from the gif anim, that's a preety good piece of coding work. I am wondering how this looks on the real thing (the lcd blur here is sometimes trippy, sometimes annoying cause it makes effects to look not so clear). And also, nice piece of Z80 code there at the beginning :)

benryves: TI actually gives the ROM away as part of their official SDK (which is freeware) It's included as part of the CLC calculator state image and can be used directly from TilEmu (the newest, latest, greatest TI emulator) or can probably be extracted to work in TiEmu

Finally took the time to get my homebuilt link-cable to work again so I could see this on the real thing.

Very impressive code, a lot of stuff never seen on the TI-83 before.
My one small complaint is that the tempo could be a bit better, some parts drag along a little bit too long.

Now this is cool! I agree with Shadow that some parts are a bit too long though. Still, this rocks! :)

Thumb up for the unusual platform choice and for the effort.
Too bad some people showed up once again with a thumb down for no reason at all...
