I know everybody's gunna say using external data is the norm these days, but that still doesn't mean I have to like it. Call me a purist, but I prefer to see 4K'ers and 64K'ers that create all data themselves. (API's don't count --they're a necessary evil.)
But I know Northern Dragons have a sound synth ready for 4K, so it's disappointing they didn't rely upon this engine.
Apart from that, I was expecting some sort of big ending and was left disappointed.

Super sfx for a 4k, and still 96b to play with! some sort of basic texture for the buildings would have been nice.
And i sorta agree with Thom about the external sounds. Some people did this in 256b prods where the the .nfo actually contained the code :/ so was in effect was actually around 16k of code.

Very impressive samples, quite nice graphics, really sucky normals on the metaballs.

it started nice with the buildings and the sound is great, but the blob sucks... why isn't it higher tesselated, actually that should be just a parameter modification...
Good start. But then, you expect some mutated gigantic über-ant or king kong on crack to be the city crusher and all you get is this lousy blob.
I like the screams, but the rest doesn't real work for me ... more screaming in 4k would be great though
It would have been better if there was a big frog instead of that ugly and pathetic blob.

Fun idea. Even the fact that there was AN idea made this better than most of the 4k:s.
i liked it. the sounds were GM, but i guess there wasn't any space left for a synth.

Phaser: in fact not all sounds were GM, some were synthetised. It's not about size, but more about style. Synth music isn't 50's enough =)

The blob could have indeed looked smoother, but still this was my favorite prod in the compo besides the Evoke invitation and should definitely have placed in TOP-3.
Really cool audio, and the visual serves the intro rather well ( though the blob is blocky ).
i wanted to thumb up the soundtrack, but gm = no thumb :(

it was... ok. But the part that I thought was most impressive is from the extra midibank, so, hmm. Going piggie, cuz really it's NOT that much more than 4k elongated cubes and a jizzblob, and I hate jizzblobs.

while the concept was neat, I have to echo sentiments on the blob, kind rigid looking, and an ending would have been good. The Theremin sound and use is perfect though, very classic oldies sci-fi/horror vibe, very campy! :)
