One more intro I liked back then. I guess it does look dated today, but it gets the thumb anyway

tmb: the big fat lamer (in bs1 that is) never existed (it was just a name to make the memberlist bigger than it really was, if i remember well), this one was coded by chatterbox after 3d balls shown in the afterburner arcade game.

Woah - I am happy to see this screenshot again - this one rules them all. It must have been one of the very first 3d routines I ever saw. Seem to remember that the bobs were somewhat slow, but hey - 1988!

Great one, with a classic Obarski tune "Blueberry"

I don't know, I've seen far smoother moving bobs in old amiga prods. The colors are fugly aswell so no thumb.

Topo: Yes, they are slooooow. But I think it must be one of the first times prods with 3d-rotating bobs. (Can some historian please correct me?)

... and bluberry deserves a thumb all in it self.

This was far from full frame rate, but loved it anyways! The colours and graphics style made this intro stand out compared to the other rainbow-gradient stuff of that time.

As I wrote it previously - a great "cell-shader" ;) with a nice music.
A classic.

Though slow, this told me the Amiga was more capable than the 8-bits that I knew so well.

And slowly but surely, they conquered the blitter. :]
