shame on me I can raise my thumb without self voting. u__u
DHS and MJJ's intros are really good. I also enjoyed the intros by Cooper,Exocet & Dma-sc and Reservoir Gods.
Some gfx and musics are simply amazing.

simply awesome.
I love atari!
All selfvote, then i like me, too !

Lots of good parts, a couple of real show-stoppers, a little bit of filler. In short, a typical megademo of the oldschool.
We hail your return!

It's marvellous!
I thumb's up other's people work here, not my particular intro that features one of the 6 sine scrollers present in this demo (sigh...).
Definitively a good production, even if I hope that a version 1.1 of the demo with some ironed-out details will be released :)

simply marvellous :) atari st still running things after 20 years!
Everything fits!
Basically all active groups contributed with a good variety of old- and new-school screens and the main menu is very nice, too!
Definetly the best present my old 1040STf could dream of.

how nicely
This kind of product definitively shows that Pouet.net is lacking something: It seems impossible to link this demo to each single group that participated. That's a shame :-/
Atari rulez !
FOREVER !!!

Well, if you consider it was during the oldskoolish period (ie: pre-1993), you can also write it was the most delayed demo ever started :)
Funily if we had wrote that the Phaleon was a 'The Replicants' project, it would have got way more comments I guess...
Awesome mega demo! MJJ effect is beatiful! never-seen-before!
it's nice to see that Atari ST manage to stay in our hearts for so many years. all you people are great! I love you! stay /|\

the flashback of the "strange animals playing music " brought tears to my eyes! =)
The overall level of the screens is very good.
Well done guys (nothing much to add that hasn't been said in this thread)!!

It's cool. Some parts are ok some parts are great. Yey, MJJ part in the left side, is preety great, first time to see this kind of mapping here (great idea) and really amazing music! And perhaps there were 1-2 more parts with cool code and others I simply enjoyed..

Damned i forgot it !
The results of the compo are available. Just download and read Alive 12 great diskmag.
A good way of celebrating 20 years of st. Some nice screens mixed with some very impressive tunes and gfx make the whole thing a good xmas gift. Too bad the main menu gfx are ripped from existing games (megaman and sonic battle).
Sorry, no thumb up... Most graphics are fantastic (but i already thump-uped some graphicians), but the code is not very original, and some screens are crap!
has it all
Nice to have an old fashioned Atari megademo in 2005, congrats to all the people involved, especially those who hadn't done/coded Atari stuff for ages!
I expected more codewise though (Checkpoint & Cream where are you?).
Screens by RG (the best effect of the demo imo), MJJ (excellent too) & Cooper/Exocet/Dma-sc are my favorites.
Jace: where is the fullscreen for the main menu? ;)
Nova: congrats for being disqualified because your gfx entry was late! Very nice picture anyway, I'm glad it was eventually included in the demo :)
