if one takes kohais comment and exaggerates all of his points, it can be used perfectly to describe this demo ;)
the models and textures have such an enormous detail, i noticed this in every scene and every second watching this cool thingie :)
BUT... guys... please choose different music with some slow and some noisy parts and not that "loopish" one for the final version ;)

The music isn't bad at all, I've heard worse. Great gfx, but feels a little more aimed at gamers than sceners (at least compared to previous T-Rex stuff).

scene.org is kinda slow with updates/mirrors nowadays, it took them almost 2 days to move this one from /incoming.. and it's still not widely available.. maybe that's a good thing after all.. 8]

Looks freakin awesome (altough the characters look a bit poser-ish), music could be better tho.
I don't get what's so great about it - simply boooring IMHO, and the music sucks.

"could have been much better" blablah :) it's yet a nice one. respect for the modelling! i don't think the music sucks so much either. the whole thing is just not really impressive. but its better than many others which get lotsa "rulez" votes.
I have just seen it. Really nice and beautifull thing! A gothic atmosphere full of dragons, angels, demons, an elf woman magician, lot's of particles,.. cool textures and modeling. The music perhaps fits the theme, it's nice...

Not really impressive, the music is quite bad, sorry... But there are good ideas, but the best ones were ripped from 3dsmax 4 samples scenes (dragon, wind around the demon).
I prefer usual T-Rex originality.

Well... the 3D Engine is good !!! that's all ! =)
The part which I like the most, and is a bit surprised that noone else has commented on, is the dancer early in the demo. Lovely movement, and the particles spraying from his hands is a really nice touch :) And I also liked the hands with the metaballs.
For the music I must say that it would have been better if the guitar-riff had been sampled as a whole. Riffs made out of one muted and one open stroke seldom sounds good :) But the guitar definately fit, it's just not done well enough.
Oh and yeah.. why the hell do I get frameskips in the endprt, when I have a 1.2ghz athlon and a GeForce2? That should not have been necessary :/
Anyway, I like the mood in the demo, so a "rulez" from me as well :)

As everyone else, let me comment on the amazing modelling. Also the fluid animation of the dancer in the beginning is absolutely astonishing. I have to question the choice of colors in some of the scenes, though. Still, good work.
booring 3d flyby. oh, there are particles. anyway. a little bit of mipmapping wouldn't hurt, and someone should look very close at the examples of 3d-max. if they had ripped the music, this demo would have been better.
Fantastic ... i love this one, the engine rulez, the models are very detailed and the texture maps are .. well fantastic (see the wall drawing near the end of the demo, at the roof)

okay i must admit that the skinning is nice.. but some of the models don't look very good (artifacts). maybe it's because of my card (gf2mx), but i don't think so. i didn't like the music either. i prefer abstract stuff instead of this :)

BUT this demo is fantastic. It has probably the best models I've ever seen, they smell like poser but I don't mind. The dancing human in the beginning is excellent, to the point that I am really wondering how they did it (motion capture? how? and who danced?!? :-) The textures are very nice too and the design is fluid. The only thing that bothered me is the guitar riff in the middle which sounds rather bad. Also, the naked lady in the fire could use some... clothes :-)
Apart from that, it's just excellent! A definate recommendation! :-)

Very very good. The models are amazingly impressive, and the textures are beautiful and clear. I think that everybody should see this one, especially fans of epic stuff.

Very cool, Music rockss in every way, modelling and scenes are very good, but it is simple demo with goog scenes, but not that beautifull abstract demo like "Broadband". I like BB much better. But this demo is cool too
the character animations in this prod rules, but im not that keen on demos with 3dscenes like this, and i didnt like the music much either.

Yes. One of the rare highlights in 2001. Although the nfo file states that the demo needs 500Mhz and plenty of RAM, it runs (to my surprise) pretty well on my K2+TNT+64MB.

I'm not interested in the theme, but I have to say it rules anyway because the quality is a little shocking compared to usual (and I even like the sound of the music, except for the synth heavy guitar stuff near the end)
oh yeah.. and parts are really beautiful. I noticed bad aliasing problems with some textures on the walls though. Mipmapping should have engaged at a closer distance, but didn't (on TNT2).
This demo is absolutely flawless. It is actually one of my favorites. With the "mysterious" ambience created by the colors, lighting, and music, and the theme, it just seems soooo awesome.
I also love this medieval fantasy genre, and I am a big fan of "Lord Of The Rings", and the "Samellion" (I think that's how you spell it but I'm not sure).

this demo is like a big puzzle game, finding and matching the ripped example data to the corresponding programs. also poser models should be forbidden unless one can bother to fix the cracks in them. errr.
If it wouldn't be shouting "ripped gfx", it would have deserved a rulez, but ripping sux

Almost all of the graphics is "borrowed" here or there, including the dancer movements, and the dragons, and maybe even the church. I recall having seen the woman on the oldish model collection too. Oh well. Nontheless.
