very nice but i think iPod linux was around for quite a while, i wonder why no one else made a demo for it yet. The iPod screen is a bit blury, isn't it? Or maybe it is just the low quality movie :/
This almost didn't get shown in the end, the compo time had almost expired and I asked gasman whether his demo had been recorded yet - apparantly a few attempts were done with phones (which I thought would have been terrible, what with it's horrid GSM audio compression, 176x144 video resolution @ 12fps iirc), so I scrambled to find someone with a webcam, so I made a lighting rig out of two pieces of paper behind the camera, and sat the ipod in the middle of a roll of boxing tape and filmed it into Windows Media Encoder after running around trying to find a decent interconnect and levelling the audio out.
So, the video isn't perfect, but you get the idea and I'm damn we managed to get what we did to the big screen. Many many props to Gasman too for the excellent demo! :D

You can *probably* get a working ipod mini build just by changing the two lines in podfather.h that it tells you to change. Unfortunately this screws up the SDL version of the framebuffer code (because it naughtily assumes that the horizontal resolution is a multiple of 4, I think) so without a real mini to test on, I can't say how crap (or not) it will look.
