Very very clean and nice demo. Good clean design, very interesting music, perfect transitions. Synestetics are "N.k.o.t.s." (New kids on the scene), but they are kicking very hard.
Technicall: there are very much slowdowns (to 2 - 5 fps) in the transition between scenes ony my A2600XP +Radeon 9100

the clouds are amazing, but so is the overall feel..great choice of colors and good music that somehow gave me the feeling of being held back from what it could have been. beautiful

Those primary colours are ugly, but otherwise I really like this demo. It's very relaxing and the music is exceptional and made the demo a pleasure to watch.

It won for me. The ASD demo is also great, no doubt, but i was able to get the mood of this more. Great stuff.

I love Synesthetics. They're so soft and cuddly! Nice atmosphere from start to finish, and unlike many other demogroups, these guys use the frame quite well -- they're not obsessed with constantly rotating around dead center.

nice sky effect, however becomes boring after the 3rd or 4th time. I find the rest of the demo messy with weak colours and a low frame rate. Music is quite nice, however would have sounded much better without that horrible bassdrum.
Way cool ... sometimes a bit unconnected scenes, but the 'fly through the clouds' is purely a Great idea ( and well done, moreover )

One of the great demos of this compo. Perhaps the clouds were a bit over-used but they ruled on the bigscreen. Love the soundtrack too.
I think I forgot to mention how much I loved the soundtrack in this demo. The sound quality is fantastic.

Quite a crowdpleaser demo, but a nice one at that. I didn't like the red cubes though, they didn't seem to fit in. I also really wish you'd have included the vocals with the tune. Still, a pretty enjoyable one.

....yes it is a good demo but Aeon Flux was way better, after a few watching this demo I must say that I dont like that Clouds fly-by scene, technically it is good, but this cloud scene do no fit to design of other scenes presented in demo.

Solid demo. Music is good, nice DOF effect in some parts, and then ofcourse the cloud parts which is what I think pushed it to such a high place in the compo.

Looks like a "my first amiga 64k intro" which will get thumbs up because it is on amiga. Do the terrain in terragen next time and go for gold.

Best scene music 2005 so far. Comes very close to the music video metaphore.
Lots of shiny plastic and cubes. While a lot of effort went into this and technically parts of it may be excellent it still ends up a weak thumbs down in my book. Still easily worth watching if you can't get enough of demos.

For some reason I keep coming back to this. In one way it is cheesy and terrible, but in another way it is smooth and cool and peaceful and really nice to brush your teeth to in the morning before leaving for work.
i like the last scene of impelling the camera upon river.

I cringed a bit over the choice of colors for the sky and grass, in an otherwise beautiful and very well put prod, with a style that reminds me of several Japanese demos.
One of those demos that got me interested in the scene.

Somehow I've learned to appreciate this, a lot actually. There's a certain professional aura here, only marred by the usual realtime artifacts like aliasing, bilinear artifacts, low resolution textures, etc. Other than that this definitely could've been a music video for some cheesy downtempo-trance track of the era like... like exactly the one in this demo :). The music is stylistically absolutely not my taste, but I love its serene melodies and how well the visuals are married together to it. Kaupallista potentiaalia, as they used to say.
