Yet another massive 3d fly-by with generic music and a boatload of quite impressive 3d models. Totally pointless scenario/story though. ;)

first of all: do we need a kasparov remake?
'til the middle i liked it much better than those previous smash 3d-demos. at least there's lighting and some interessting play with cameras.
but those "bork"-models suck ass and so does the animation. the close-ups make it even worse.

textures were nicely baked... but animations suck ass. could have been much better. a little bit more postfilters wouldn't do harm anyway.

I like most Smash Design stuff and the 3d work is stunning, but this one was too boring and unoriginal for my liking.
The Borg visit City17. hellfire brought it right down to the point.
hm.. first part is kasparov refurbished. Not too innovative, but actually nice.

2 minutes of unpacking, boring, dull and no interesting 3D flyby featuring horrible cheap techno music by Sonic. AEG´s modeling skills are still impresive, but this all looks like some demo for game, not demo for democeners...
and of course, those flying probes inspired by the ones from Half Life 2 are cheap and dumb !!!

Good modelling + a decent scene player. Unfortunately, it's not very interesting too watch.. and the factory part looks like something farbrausch have done in less than 64k ;-)
well atleast in the future I won't be unemployed \o/ so thumb up for the future!

Well,. the usual SD flybye demos, but I enjoyed this much better than the previous. It had a very nice start (refracted water, fishes and lightning and then the newspaper and grafiti credits with great textures, going inside factory from the newspaper, till here it was COOL!) then it was kinda slower progressing in 3d scenes, boring, but good sync at times.
better than previous SD prods, techinically speaking ( some speed improvements, and some nice lightmappd scene ) ... but unfortunately, the lack of goal/concept/idea ruins it all ...

Really great textures, liked them a lot at the demoshow... perhaps it's doing sort-of oclussion shading and it takes long time to calc it at start?

Technically nice and pretty cool modelling, but the content is really boring on the other hand, therefore a pig.
This only gets a rulez from me because of the really beautiful textures here and there. I really enjoyed the part with the walls. Overall, the first half looked really good.
But then... totally forgetable. And the concept? What was your message? Female robots are evil? I don't get it. Plus: a flyby. I don't like that.

Flyby. But a good flyby for once. Still only a flyby, and flyby equals piggie.
One of the best looking demos i have ever seen, except for that woman though. But thumbs up for crystal sharp textures and rendering engine.
If I was the type of scener into flybys, I would most likely love this. But I'm not, and I don't. Sorry, but for me this was about as entertaining as watching static on TV.

At first, I thought SDs really managed to make a proper demo where the detail and artwork level really fits alltogether since the beginning was really great. But soon, you can see this plant-texture on the wall, spoling the demo again with its cheap and obvous texturish look. Then it continues like that, the railway cars bringing it to the edge: High-detail lit textures on a simple model are just ugly, nothing else. Not to mention high-detail lit objects which do not even cast simple shadows... And the borgladies look like a simple attempt to copy the techdemos which the gfx card manufacturers PR departments like to use in order to appeal dumb gamers...
Well, if there wasn´t the nice beginning, the soundtrack, the endscene and the generally high technical quality, it would have ended up with a thumb down.

if you compare what they have copyed, with the originals, the copy sucks in every way...
we have, kasparov, hl2, matrix and some borgs out of ST...
the camera was choppy, the "dolphins" naked...
sds proved it again, they need a designer...

Some incredibly huge amount of gfx and work which managed to be also quite very boring. The "Chefrockers" revelation didn't really work on me as a wow factor anyway.

visually this is definetely the best of smash designs pc demos. but still, there are some major flaws, like the wannabe-graffiti pics in the intro/credit part and some other design letdowns. music is as always, solid but not my taste.
but all in all i like it.

better then the last 2 sd-demos.. but still not exactly my thing.. f.e. as TS said: it simply sucks to have high detail textures on an ultra low poly train.. and the "story" is SO cheesy..

Organic things (fish, cyborgs etc.) are lacking in texturing and animation though, maybe the demo would have been better if it had stayed in Kasparov mode altogether... ;)

the demo isnt great technology wise. cool music with nice throaty bass; the integration of a little story is nice. has tons of halflife2 vibes tho
Extreme cool graphics and music. Maybe a tad on the long side and the female animation could be a wee bit better. But overall still a nice watch

Some nice textures and modelling here and there and the music is okayish but the rest didn't really work out...
The first part had some impressive stuff, but then it started getting dull and cheezy.

Props for very nice 3D models and textures. But that's not enough! Flyby with so simple animations and very naive story isn't really my cup of tea. My criterion for a good demo (or movie or anything else) is that it leaves you a feeling "I would like to see this again another time". This demo definitely doesn't give that impression.
I would like to see someday a demo from you with a good 3D world tight to an asstight direction. Effects wouldn't hurt either.

the only part interesting is the shadows of rotating fan. good 3d but boring otherwise.
Really liked the factory scene.. as good as current games, even. :) The kasparovy outdoor scene had good lighting as well. But the female models, eek.. 1) they're only harvesting women, not men?, 2) they all happen to be topless in the operating room?, 3) they have HOSES COMING OUT OF THEIR NIPPLES?! is this some kind of demented milking scheme?

It has many WTF moments.
Not bad for a 3d flyby, but a bit boring and the "machines take over" concept is totaly unoriginal. And I would accept such a long loader from an intro but not from a demo. So a piggie it is...
