I could say this production "polarizes" and should thus be judged with care. Maybe it does.
But objectively seen, I do not have the feeling that a huge amount of work went into it. Subjectively I would not watch it again.

Personally I think slapping the one guy was too much.
But I also think that ppl shouldn't yell or get up the stage during an enty. I also thought that many many demos were boring, but I didn't climb up the stage because other ppl might have enjoyed them.

and oh yeah, another nice point, bp05 costed me this year something like 350-400euros, with that price i didn't even get to see my production without interruptions from fucking assholes.

my personal taste differ, but i thumb this up to show that i dont like the way people are acting either. if you dont want to see a video/animation production, then don't watch the compo. stop destroying for others.

A very nice animation. Yet I think that it doesn't really fit a demoparty. I definitely had no problem watching this till the end, as I found it rather interesting, but I understand that some people were bored.

I don't know what to expect on an event with hundrets of drunken partypeople. This demo/anim would certainly work in a different environment, with serious elite design students around.

i am not a fan of noise but i think the scene should be fair. its unfair that people shout "stop it" but its unfair also to have multiple entrys at a competition and use music which was already released before... (yes we used music too but it was only for the credits part ;D) anyway, i understand nosfe but i think it should be no reason to quit... gtx, d!RT!E

No noise in that. Although i suspect some people less aquainted with ambient stuff might consider it noise perhaps.
Unfortunately, i got a "file too large, could not be bothered to wait" error half way through. I was enjoying it upto that point tho, the tune is great and the visuals fit it very well. I'll download the whole thing at work tomorrow on a faster link. Definately a rulez from me.

ok nosfe - maybe i am wrong with "noise" but please explaine me what else is it then... in german we say "rauschen"(whirring, soughing, noise). and i think it was a kind of that. i think its just a trial to circumscribe what we saw - not a music style - yes it was not hard or nerving and yes its art, but often people cant understand it or have another taste. it would be great if you can put it into a video installation with a lot of old trashed tv screens or somthing like that. gtx d!RT!E
Thumb up is not for the prod but the excellent amount of controvesy that came out of it.. It's wrong for people to get up on the stage and shout down a prod, threats of violence are also wrong but perhaps understandable in the circumstances.

the music was one of the nicest pieces of ambient i heard - i just don't get it why people complain about it at all... it's not like it's loud or aggressive...

Actually when I saw the title of the wild at BP I thought you did just that.
Even if it would've been a terrible idea, in retrospect it could have shown the .. erm .. not terribly sophisticated noise that emanated from the audience at some point.

it doesn't really "rule" and its not kick-ass or something, but it's nice, very chilled and... just nice! The music is in no way like noise or something and i watched the video without feeling any pain in my eyes or ears :)

hmm, the encoding is indeed a bit annoying, but i wonder if it really would be better without the mpeg blocks (or maybe they are even intentional?).
iam not sure if its my decoder or something, but i get some lame synch bugs wich i dont think are supposed to be there (some layers jumping back a millisecond or two) wich really sucks for me atleast.

I can put this on and get instant satisfaction. Well... At least after a couple of minutes when the soundtrack "kicks in" for real ;). This stuff always works for me.
Although, I have to say that even though the video is soft and mellow and stuff it's not that emotive. I dunno if that was the intention or not.
